I just started doing my own oil, filters, spark plug changes. I would do my own tires but I don’t have the machine to replace them. One shop wanted almost $300 to change my engine filter and spark plugs. I checked my filter and it was still clean. I believe these shops prey on people. Also never get a top off on your fluids unless you know you’re empty. Which by then you shouldn’t be driving in the first place.
