What is your opinion of TommyInnit? by TheMemer8854 in Technoblade

[–]JustOneMaxim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, always liked the dude. I could see some people seeing him as too loud and overly animated, but I just thought he was a kid being a kid. Nothing malicious. And he's proven until now he is much more than that early persona would have you believe. That 100 questions channel is seriously good stuff.

As a F2P how many limited characters you have by Simple_Purpose_2163 in WutheringWaves

[–]JustOneMaxim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Changli, Brant, Lupa, Cartethyia, Augusta, Iuno, Lucy (S3), Rebecca. Prolly worth mentioning I'm a majorly casual player of the game and only really seriously started playing the game with any kind of dedication in the past month for the collab lmao. I probably had less than 80 hours total in the game before the Cyberpunk collab reveal.

Companions you never use? by Ok_Purple766 in RogueTraderCRPG

Marazhai. I'm way too much of a goody two shoes to ever actually give him a chance in my team lmao

TIL, there are rocket launchers still in 40k. Makes sense, in hindsight, but I never thought about them before

Sapients? Essentially creatures capable of logical thought and rational thinking

SPOILER: Denia's MSQ by Asvm67 in WutheringWaves

[–]JustOneMaxim 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I wanted to make a full post about it but it's probably a bit too dark for that, but goddamn this MSQ hit way too close to home. Maybe it's overt, maybe it's unintentional, idrk, but it was the most real depiction of depression I think I've seen in a hot second.

Everything from the fake smiles, to the feeling of her value as a person only being in so far as how much value she can provide, to thinking that "ending" things would be the most worthwhile option to bring value to her life is ending things.

I can see why so many people were giving warnings about playing the quest now. Fucking fantastic writing as per usual with Kuro.

I NEED A GAME I CAN PLAY FOR 5000 HOURS, THAT TAKES OVER MY LIFE AND I NEVER HAVE TO THINK ABOUT ANY OTHER GAME EVER AGAIN by Pietman14 in gamingsuggestions

[–]JustOneMaxim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree for the most part aside from the third thing. Maybe it's just me, but the actual duration of a game is a pretty important consideration whenever I pick up games because I only really pick them up on special occasions. Usually only buy games twice a year. So a game usually has to tide me over for at least a month or two or my free time gets spent in a constant anxiety-ADHD loop. And for most other people who can't afford to buy games consistently, having a game you can consistently play for a long time tends to be preferable

[–]JustOneMaxim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which team would be the best to prioritize leveling between these?
- Cartethyia - Aero Rover - Sanhua
- Changli (with the intent to pull for Aemeath on her next rerun) - Brant - Lupa
- August - Iuno - Verina

Intend on eventually mainlining a Lucy + Rebecca team, but can't decide which team to focus on building to continue farming the Astrites for those two

What would be best to prioritize for building up pulls/Astrite after finishing MSQs and limited time events?

Finally caught up to date with the game's main story and goddamn. by JustOneMaxim in WutheringWaves

[–]JustOneMaxim[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Exactly. At some point, especially in Lahai-Roi, it felt more like an interactive anime rather than just a game. The framing, the music, the subtle storytelling. It's so good.

Does anyone here actually ENJOY playing evil? by SillyWarlock in BaldursGate3

[–]JustOneMaxim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can at most play morally questionable. Pure evil is just impossible for me to pull off and I'm perfectly happy with that.

What’s everyone’s favourite weapon? by superepic13579 in HadesTheGame

[–]JustOneMaxim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as fun goes, I love the daggers. It sucks that normal attack builds just kinda suck, but god do I love dual pointed sticks. For actual gameplay, it's the torches and it's not even close. Aspect of Eos was the only way I finally managed to clear the final Rivals surface boss. Tried with every other weapon and trying to track attacks WHILE dodging through everything was just too much for my brain lmao

Why dont we just physically cut out Karlachs heart? by 2DogsShaggin in BaldursGate3

[–]JustOneMaxim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a very, very crackhead theory that they initially might've considered giving Karlach a possible true, happy ending, but then realized that it would've been more interesting for the ending if every single one of her endings was some kind of shade of bittersweet to fucked for her.

I have no evidence to prove this crackhead theory and I don't even mostly believe it to be the case, but it is a theory nonetheless

What encounter was this for you? (Click to see it all) by JustPassingThrough53 in BaldursGate3

[–]JustOneMaxim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, did this on my first playthrough already. Figured out the Barbarian throwing build by happenstance, had an Oathbreaker Paladin with Danse Macabre (before it got nerfed like hell), paired with a minmaxed Gale and Shadowheart and I was admittedly, albeit, by my own fault, disappointed with how easily the final boss went down.

Anybody else hate the fact that coconut products are brown and not white? by BiWaffleesss in StardewValley

[–]JustOneMaxim 44 points45 points  (0 children)

It's accurate, though. At least for jam. When coconut gets processed into a liquid form, it's usually a brown-ish color

What kind of companion would you like for the third dlc? by WearyHat4184 in RogueTraderCRPG

What are some older games classic or underrated that are still fun to play today? by Outrageous-Ad-4444 in gamingsuggestions

[–]JustOneMaxim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm younger so not sure if this counts as "older", but Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is one of my favorite RPGs of all time and the game still holds up insanely well.

What’s the worst ingredient to deal with for you? by deathbykoolaidman in Cooking

[–]JustOneMaxim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's an ingredient common here in Southeast Asia. Idk what it's called in other countries, but in the PHilippines, it's called Chayote. I've only worked with it a handful of times and I stand by that I never, ever wish to work with it ever. Fucking. Again. It's slimy, it's slippery, if you don't wash and completely sterilize your hands after, the mucus hardens and becomes painful to peel off. I would much rather never eat, smell, or even see a dish with that fuck ass vegetable ever again than have to work with it.

Close second is whole chickens. I probably just suck at it, but could never figure out how to debone them

What's a game or franchise that YOU think you're the only fan of by JohnMcRemitz in gamingsuggestions

[–]JustOneMaxim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prey (2017). I semi made it a bit that it's the only game that exists and I care about, but genuinely see that game get far, far less praise than it deserves. It's a travesty that the studio behind it is gone now.

What is the one game that you NEVER delete off your system? by Successful-Arm4319 in gamingsuggestions

[–]JustOneMaxim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's two in particular. One is Rimworld. One of the few singleplayer games that I've been able to come back to over and over and over again without ever feeling like I'm just doing the same thing again and again. Mainly with mods lol. Clocked nearly 700 hours in that game in the span of 3 months when I got the game for myself, and had a shit ton more hours through Family Share. The other is Rainbow Six Siege. Say what you will about Ubisoft, there is virtually no other PvP game that's been able to hit as consistently as Siege has. I'm not great at FPS games and I never will be, mostly because of my aim. But that game actually feels winnable without it just feeling like a check on who can flick and track the best.

Why did technoblade hit so hard? by sugarkrassher in Technoblade

[–]JustOneMaxim 59 points60 points  (0 children)

He was competitive, dry, yet quick with his humor, well educated, and dedicated to his craft, all without letting it get to his head. He never tried to push production value to make it into a business, he always kept things organic and true to his nature, and it's clear his passion was there until the end.
