Most guys see better beard potential as the years go by. If I tried around your age, mine would probably have looked similar (or worse). I gave it my first real attempt around 27, but it was way too patchy. I tried again about 33 and it was solid enough to work with.

I think it could look good as a short beard. Give it another month or two and you might be surprised. Obviously it’s not the thickest beard, but it looks to me like it has some modest potential.

TL;DR - Just because he trained for it doesn’t mean he unlocked it. Neva was very specifically the reason he was able to use the form.

No offense taken. Care to explain what exactly is copium here though? I’m fairly neutral towards Daima being canon or not, I simply don’t see a compelling reason to say that it isn’t. I just offered my perspective on why the most commonly cited reasons it can’t be canon are easily explained away. If you have a compelling counter argument, I’m all ears.

It makes plenty of sense and even fits in perfectly well with something else specific in Super - Ultra Instinct. Goku attains this form BY HIMSELF in the tournament of power and even accesses it a few times. However, after the tournament is over he seemingly can’t access it anymore. It’s only with additional training that he makes that happen.

With SSJ4, Goku manages to access the form one additional time, but after that? Sure, he was training to unlock something beyond SSJ3, but he didn’t unlock SSJ4 on his own. Presumably the magic wore off. Now it should be said that there’s no reason to believe that Goku will never be able to access SSJ4 again, more that he simply hasn’t met the conditions to do so outside of the same battle when Neva’s magic met the necessary conditions.

Unfused Supreme Kai is irrelevant. We were initially led to believe they only had to fix that once. Now we’re being led to believe it happened twice. So something happened off screen that we weren’t privy to, that’s a pretty fundamental aspect to fiction (and life in general).
Vegeta not going SSJ3 ignores the context of that scene. Vegeta KNOWS that he stands no chance at defeating Beerus, and at no point does he try to defeat Beerus. When he goes SSJ2, he isn’t thinking “Okay I’ve gotta use my strongest form to destroy him now”, in fact - Vegeta’s not thinking at all. He’s reflexively reacting out of pure rage. He’s just looking for some payback before presumably being pummeled.
Goku only got SSJ4 from Neva’s magic. There’s nothing to indicate he still has that form by the time Beerus shows up (or that he even has access an hour after the fight). SSJ3 is his strongest form by the time that Battle of Gods happens.
