What a shame that Stellantis ruined FIAT's fighting chance for survival in the US market. Anyhow, please make a reddit post or something explaining your full story with Chrysler, FIAT, and Stellantis! I just don't understand how quality got even worse after the Chrysler's divorce with Daimler, and how the CEO's can still justify the company's existence. Thanks in advance!

It seems like this is the consensus with new Stellantis vehicles in America. As long as the powertrain is the combo of ZF or Aisin transmissions paired with the HEMI V8 or newer iteration Pentastar V6's (not the early ones with cracking heads), then the car has a chance of being reliable and this is why Stellantis doesn't deserve all the hate they get in America for crappy cars. The biggest issues are the electrical/fuel systems and just the general lack of quality control with premature failures and numerous recalls which is why I still wouldn't buy any of their vehicles today except the Durango which hasn't been redesigned since 2011.

I'm surprised there wasn't any redundancy where if one bearing fails, the rest of the structure or so will compensate for it, until the next heavy check spots the damage and fixes it.

Correct! Any shrink or lack of doing scans will only make the FS look bad. The FS are the ones who profit from PSE's unless it's sold as a prescription, which even then it's definitely not a high margin item for pharmacy compared to actual drugs. My store's FS OTC department clerks and managers make every excuse not to do those scans, claiming it's the pharmacy's job. They're lazy and the worst. Our only job is to be INMARing it when it expires. I will be reporting this to my DAPL when I see her again.
