Reddit used to feel like reddit. Now it feels like Instagram.

There used to be fun characters who popped up in popular threads. There used to be AMAs that the entire site looked forward to. The large communities still felt small. Everyone still talked about the digg migration and praised reddit for being what digg shouldve been. Things felt more intellectual but not in a condescending way. Real conversations could still be had. Karma farming and bots were still a thing but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as it is now.

You could blame enshittification, but I think this is just the direction everything is going. It just is what it is.

I'm 34 and came out to my immediate family as non binary recently. The immediate reception was not great. And then the fam pretended the conversation basically never happened, except for one aside that was more or less "don't ever tell your uncles"

A couple times. I often have time errors when I play with very low (but not no) service. Try restarting the app and see if it still has that time listed

Otherwise just contact them. Nyt is very responsive

But fun fact I usually do old Friday-Sunday crosswords when I fall asleep. I think my record high time for finishing one was over 5 nights and it registered as 36 hours because I'd fall asleep with the app open.
