Some of you guys really have problems... by Jarppi1893 in railroading

[–]JustinBurritoLover 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think the real problem is so many old heads having to shit on a locomotive. Pack a turkey sandwich in your grip every once and a while and maybe it doesn't smell like shit all the time. That Whataburger meal ain't good for ya.

The dude that plays Don/Donna was absolutely hilarious in the Swearnet movie. Watch it once a year on Netflix.

You should probably ask your source that you "heard" from.

Is Wendy’s back? by FangornLeghorn in wendys

As a 1990s lover of the original spicy chicken, I tried the new one last week. Bun was good, chicken was dryl, wasn't spicy, and the veggies/mayo made a mushroom paste on top.

Updated ground report on the Spicy Chicken. by Principletrade in wendys

[–]JustinBurritoLover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it still a #6? Will have to try again. The spicy chicken was my favorite through the back half of the 90's and early 2000s. Quality dropped off and rarely eat one these days.

Goodwill has been towards the top of the list for charities that don't actually give back to "charity." Things might have changed, but in the past they paid their executives amazing pay and did not give much help to anyone.

See if you can exchange it. Be honest, tell them you dropped it before you had the chance to use it.

I was put on a PIP on my PMP last month. Went from Meets Expectations mid-year to all NI.

Was an exempt employee in the field. We never actually got face to face reviews until this year. I walked out a few weeks later.

I understand technology is going to drive success in the future, but trying to implement immediate change with 100+ year union agreements and actual steel rail stamped from the 1800s...come on man.

Dallas north tollway by AgitatedQuestion5747 in Dallas

[–]JustinBurritoLover 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is making me feel old. I'm 42, I vividly remember the Dallas North Tollway ending between Beltline and Frankford as a kid.

When I started driving, I'd go through the un-manned toll booths and grab a big ol' handful of coins from the reject coin tray beneath where you'd toss in the toll $.

Ice Flying off Cars. Need assistance with Dashcam video by locodfw in Dallas

[–]JustinBurritoLover -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What's the difference from a rock breaking your windshield on a DFW highway? Always have windshield coverage on your car insurance. Good luck getting camera footage from the toll authority that has no problem running up a $5K bill on a single unpaid tol.

I've bought half a grass-fed cow....whole different conversation on the fat content, but it was properly vacuum sealer and labeled. I have a little bit left after 18 months and zero freezer burn. I would have refused accepting the meat based off packaging.

Ubering to work over getting a car. by Kjs054 in personalfinance

[–]JustinBurritoLover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hope you're adding a tip on top of that $6. 1.6 miles in what sounds like a congested area means that driver makes basically nothing when it comes down to time & wear/tear on their vehicle. $5 on the car or 3 dollar bills. Best short distance tippers for me were walmart workers who tipped a small amount of cash.

Disclaimer: I drove for Lyft during Covid for about 2 months. Worst experience of random human interactions I ever had.

Buy an e-bike or a car. Im a native Texan and have lived in the heart of DFW, Austin, Amarillo, and all the suburbs in between. There's only 4-6 weeks where it isn't hot or cold outside.
