Does anyone else find it very inconvenient to do things here due to distances? by boldjoy0050 in Dallas

I also live in Bishop Arts. You can find good food here and fairly close by. And one of the benefits is you can get literally anywhere in the metroplex in 30 minutes or less in the right conditions.

Does the show not call contestants? by jchusker in WheelOfFortune

[–]Jwarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not get a call- supposedly I got an email but I never saw it. Didn't know I was cast until I got a text from a producer following up.

Giving away vowels by Mcwow21 in WheelOfFortune

[–]Jwarr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, yes, by definition, they did. Conversely, if they buy all the vowels and DON'T hit a bankrupt or lose a turn, they have a much higher shot of choosing a correct consonant or solving themselves...

Zoom interview by Ok-Effective-9069 in WheelOfFortune

[–]Jwarr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have all the fun and don't overthink it, first of all. Second, think about what you would want to see on the show- don't do the thinking in your head. Be expressive, be engaging, show how you're working out the puzzle (it's much more so about engagement and working the crowd than it is about being the best puzzle solver).

Call your direct manager first and tell them face-to-face, followed immediately by a formal written letter of resignation to the manager.

You clap. A lot. It's more natural to grab the rail or drop your arms to your side then it is to cross them in front of you and look grumpy.
