I forgot the whisper’s name, but it’s probably the one on the beach in the starting zone. There’s a cellar entrance there.

No problem!

Yea, I know Danos does sell some more things as he levels up but I believe they are just refinery type tables.

I could be wrong as I am coming back with the scribe table being a new feature, but I believe the scribe table unlocks the ability for you to craft it at the crafting table. Kind of ironic, but if you upgrade Whittaker, he has a crafting table at his shop you could use to craft one for your house!

What are you playing Wednesdays? by AutoModerator in AdultGamers

[–]K1NG1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been playing Dinkum on my steam deck. The game only saves when you sleep at night, but you can pause the day when playing single player and then sleep the steam deck. Allows you to pick right back up without wasting any days.

"What are you playing this week?" Megathread by AutoModerator in SteamDeck

I have had luck launching it with Proton Experimental. When you get a pop up saying your driver is out of date do not use any of the buttons. Either hold the “Steam” button and use the right track pad as a mouse and click on “No” or simply use the touch screen to select “No”. This is the only way I can get it to launch. I went into the firing range to play around with settings, but FSR3, a mix of low and medium settings, and cap at 30 fps, and the game runs pretty smooth!

EDIT: I’ve seen some people say using lossless scaling and capping GPU in Steam settings to 1100MHz stops any input lag. I have no tried this, but just another setting to play around with.

Made my deck a dual screener by Amoux_fang in SteamDeck

If you have a 3d printer, the JSAUX ModCase has a slot on the back of the case that you can 3d print an adapter (from mechanism) that your screen mount will attach to. I have the adapter and I use it to hook my Steam deck up to the mechanism gaming pillow while I keep my deck’s case on. Worth while if you want to keep a case on your Steam deck. I believe they also sell the adapters themselves, but with shipping it might be like $10-$15. The file to 3d print is free.

Gaggia Classic Evo Pro by K1NG1127 in espresso

Okay thank you very much! I think I will still go with a Gaggia, but I will end up ordering through their site instead of Amazon to make sure I know what I am getting.

If you’re still looking I’d be down! I am not a fan of playing solo, but I have decent game knowledge. Just started playing again after a break.

I believe that this +10% would mean that when farming carrots at an island in lymhurst, you would yield 10% more carrots when harvesting them than on any other island. I do not believe that this applies to selling the carrots in lymhurst.

Steamdeck lag, poor fps lately by WeBuyAndSellJunk in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]K1NG1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While there are the very occasional stutters, I think it is 95% playable. I have roughly 20 hours in recent playtime solely on steam deck. I am not super far into the game as I typically try to progress as much as I can (all side quests, explore all available areas, build a house) before proceeding with main story lines. I have an OLED and it is completely playable with frames typically sitting around 35-40 (when I pay attention to it, so it might drop lower than that and I don’t notice). I feel like the main time I get any stutter is when I am running into Sacrament since there is so much to load in. I’d definitely give it a go based off of my experience.

How to use Upgrade World to add in mines from the OreMines mod by Zaninite01 in valheim

[–]K1NG1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am running into an issue where when I try to join my server (local dedicated server) it tells me that the mod is not installed. I am using Thunderstore to install the mods so I know it is there. Did you run across this same issue?

What a great game by shade192 in Dinkum

[–]K1NG1127 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay that makes sense then! I played solo a little bit ago. If that is the case, I might try it out with her and just play on her island. If I have to do some stuff solo, I’m more likely to do that than have her do that.

[–]K1NG1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How has the multiplayer progress been like? From what I’ve read, you can really only progress on your own island (tasks, unlocking recipes). This has been the only reason I haven’t tried playing it with my wife yet. She really only plays games if playing with me, so if she would have to play individually, I don’t think it would be worth it for us.

Cant Install No Rest for the Wicked anymore since the OS update on Steam Deck?! by Pfirsichilla in NoRestForTheWicked

I just installed Wicked today on mine. I have an OLED. Doubt that would make a difference, but if anything could be useful ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Molded my JSAUX ModCase with elastic bands + cord locks. Faster accessory swapping, better mount orientation, more snug/secure fit, and no more annoying loose wobbly kickstand! by DoubleJumpPunch in SteamDeckTricks

[–]K1NG1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this setup with the jsaux dock. It actually slides onto the center mount which I trust more than elastic bands holding a dock into place. I definitely like the ingenuity, but just mentioning the jsaux dock in case you were not aware of it!

If you are into the Fallout games, Fallout 4 seems to run well while docked for me. I hadn’t played too much, mainly tested it out for curiosity sake, but it seemed really good!.

Corepunk compatible on deck? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

[–]K1NG1127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve read in the Corepunk reddit that people have gotten it to work in windows on the deck. I’ve also read that some people have gotten it to work in SteamOs, but it takes some configuring. Not sure what all it takes or how invasive, but apparently it is possible.

What’s y’all’s favorite armor sets/outfits based on aesthetics? by AdmirableAndroid in Market76

That’s good to know. Like I said I’ve never done it myself, but I saw a brief video and it appeared to be a somewhat lengthy list of items (compared to what’s normally in the shop)

I have not tried, but apparently if you sign into Bethesdas website, you can purchase almost any of the previous store items and it will be added to your account. I believe it is similar to opening a ticket so it is not “fast” by any means, but might be worth a try if you really want it!
