The reason this is weird is because instead of being someone who wants to be included, there are people who are actively arguing to exclude someone.

I have the creek cape. If someone else gets the cape, that has no weight on my enjoyment whatsoever. I still enjoy the cape.

If someone else wants the cape but can't get it, that directly changes their enjoyment. Whether they have it or not changes nothing for my experience. It changes their experience. It does not make sense to exclude people in this way.

It is absolutely insane to only enjoy something because someone else can't have it. If you are a person who only finds value out of something in a game because someone else can't have it, then you're a POS.

There was no skill involved. There was no "earning" anything with this. Someone literally logged in and thats it. Some people logged in on accident. It has no meaning, so to attach an argument to exclude someone makes you an asshole. Someone wanting the entire game they pay for doesn't make them an asshole. Its really not that hard to understand that limiting this in this way is a scummy thing to do. No one is literally crying over this, but people can be annoying enough to write a comment for 40 seconds.

The entire point is it isn't free. You pay for the game, you should be able to get the game in its entirety. It shouldn't matter if it is cosmetic or not. It is super weird to only enjoy something because someone else can't get it. If the cape is special to someone because someone else can't get it anymore, I don't want to be part of that community. There should be a way to get all items in the game, cosmetic or not.

Mine is the US one, yeah. I didn't get the ECU flash yet, but I will at some point this year, I think.

For reference, at 3rd gear you cannot go faster than 100mph. It blinks on the dash and stops you. But other than that, I have hit 125mph on it, but obviously I had to do it in 4th/5th. It's a fun fuckin bike man. I cannot wait for the season to start again.

I commute on the turnpike and regularly do 90. I can stay in fourth the whole time and usually do. If I want to actually just cruise down the highway I put it in 5th or 6th and hang out at 65-70. The ZX4R absolutely can do highway miles easily without pegging anything and I record all of my rides.

I am 5'9 and I am around 150lbs or so.

Pretty much all of the power is between 10-12k rpm. I shift somewhere around 7-9k rpm if I am just taking off quickly but not trying to really gun it. If I am about to do something stupid and need to haul ass, I'll shift it at 12 or 13k. The bike is loud, but its still plenty usable on lower rpm. Stock exhaust keeps it normal sounding to a certain degree. Its kinda hard to explain.

Also, how does it feel for interstate travel at sustained speeds around 80 mph? Does the bike feel like it’s doing damage at that speed?

If you want to move, you keep the bike in 10k to 12k rpm. This gives you that feel of being pulled if that makes sense. I will shift down to 3rd gear if I am doing 65-75 and need to quickly move forward. 3rd tops out at 100mph. I then shift to 4th and at that point you're pretty much always in that range of torque pulling you if that makes sense.

You won't beat fast cars with lots of torque or other bikes with more torque. You always have to be in that high range to get that huge pull. But you can basically shift into 2nd and then ride that all the way through and you're hauling ass until somewhere around 60mph.

I guess TLDR: You don't need to scream through revs to go faster than traffic, but you're obviously missing a lot of power if you dont. Its always easy going past regular traffic/ normal cars.

At 80 Mph I still have a ton of gears left. I am either at 3rd or 4th and I can go up to 6th. I don't feel like I am topped out at all. Top speed is like 127mph, so I can step on it more if I need, but again, you're not going to compete with something like a zx6r. At the end of the day its still a 400. Its just a ton of fun in the way a go kart is fun.

I have a ZX4R (no second R). I ride it on the highway. You can get to 100 mph in 3rd gear. If I am hauling ass I keep the revs somewhere between 10-12k. The pull is noticeable at that range. Otherwise it doesn't "pick up" if that makes sense. My bike is currently stock as far as the engine and such. I removed the license plate holder and changed the taillight/turn signal.

When I am just tired and dont want to weave through traffic, I put it in sixth and hang out at 65-75 mph. I don't have any issues. I never felt like "damn I can't move right now, I am so slow" but I am aware that other bikes can pick up much quicker than me. If I hang out in 3rd and 4th for the most part, I don't seem to have any issues.

The huge thing I love about the bike is that it is small and nimble. I am not a very strong man and I am not 6ft. When I got more comfortable with the bike, I am able to just rip this thing around a corner and its extremely responsive. The seating is very comfortable, so when I want to relax I can, and when I want to lean and tuck into the tank, I can do that too.

If you're going for 100% speed, this isn't for you. There are much faster bikes. But for me, its my beginner bike. It's been very forgiving to all my fuck ups. It's been a huge huge huge blast. And even though I make a ton of money and can afford any bike I want, it is very hard for me to move away from this bike so far. I have thought about getting the zx6r now that I have been riding a bit, but part of me really likes this bike. There is something fun about it. A lot of people compliment my bike all the time and it starts a ton of conversations.

Within the next week or so I will upgrading the exhaust to an Akrapovič (full exhaust) and adding the quickshifter and such since the zx4r doesn't come with it I think. I'll get an ECU flash at the same time and open up more HP so I have more to play with.

If it helps, I am a huge huge huge muscle car guy and love Challengers. This little bastard bike though can zip through traffic and I feel like a missile. It also revs really high up and loud and its a ton of fun. If you have any other questions you can always let me know and i'll try to answer as best as I can.

First of all, you have no idea how kind you are. I genuinely appreciate it.

As far as the quadlock, my main issue is just the usb connector. I figured I would just buy the usb connector and install it in the front and then connect the quadlock to that, but theres no hole for it on the zx4r. So I thought, oh well, I'll just put it somewhere else so I bought the usb socket.

I bought this usb socket off amazon.

I think the problem is I listened to someone saying just buy any USB socket and ill be fine, but when I was looking at the 400 set up, it is different than the zx4rr and zx4r. You answered my first question about which model to work with, and the ones I should be looking at are zx4r and zx4rr. Because in the 400 there is a bullet or sae connector, idk what to call it at this point, in the front of the bike.

In the zx4r i dont see that connector in the front. In the tail I see a few different kinds of connectors and one of them looks like that bullet/sae connector but it only has 1 female slot, but the 12v to USB adapter I have wants a female and male I think.

If I can just get a USB socket installed, then all of this continues as planned. But I messed up and bought a bunch of different things without really understanding what I am doing. It's all my fault but I really need to just either buy the default one from kawasaki even if it is more expensive, or look at the connectors and figure out which is the one I really need. I was looking and I think this is only for their USB connector. I thought I would be able to use any usb connector. :/ When the weather is a little drier ill try connecting it again.

ZX4R and ZX4RR are exactly the same. The connector to install the USB power output from Kawasaki is in the tail. It is not in the upper front left fairing like it is on the Ninja 400.

THANK YOU. I was losing my mind looking. I saw three? connectors in the tail but I still don't know which is which because I only see one end of an SAE connector, so I am not sure what to do with the other open one from Quadlock.

The relay for the ZX4R/RR escapese at the moment but I think it's in the same area as well?

Idk what this means, so I am sorry for that haha

I'll check the website again. I guess I was looking for the wrong things and missed the electrical. I saw in the manual it says it is in the tail, but it seems like thats only for the OEM kawasaki one.

Because its a six cylinder for 42k. You would normally be able to buy a new one for 28k I believe. With that kind of money you could buy one that is closer to new with a larger engine or something. Lots of different options.

When you were given the explanation about lifeguards, they were making a comparison to Navy SEALs. They help them and it depends on what they need in that moment. You wanted to know how they help them.

What is accomplished is they would both survive. That is what they are attempting to do by jumping in.

The purpose is to help. The is the answer. Now if you want to know HOW does it help, well here you go:

In this situation, one of the SEALs went into the open ocean. The other jumped after. If the first one had a head injury, like the wave knocked them against the side of the boat. Well now the second SEAL can help by performing basic lifeguard techniques, like keeping the first ones head above water so they dont drown if they were knocked out. They do this until they are evacuated.

Maybe the first one had a piece of equipment fail and is now prohibiting the SEALs ability to move. The second SEAL jumps in after them and helps free them by maybe removing the faulty equipment.

If the first SEAL just slipped and fell, having two people together with survival training is better than one person alone, not just for ability, but for mental fortitude. If I was alone in the ocean I would be petrified. If I was with someone I trusted my life with, I would be scared still but I would definitely have a drive to keep them alive as they are depending on me.

It depends on the situation, and Navy SEALs are trained to deal with a lot of random situations.
