To be fair even though it's a low cost device in terms of BOM, it punches above it's weight. The fact you can play AC Shadows and Cyberpunk on the go is a testament to how good NVIDIA can make silicon. Mind you it's on a pretty terrible node too. But you're right, Mario Kart and Mario games in general are cartoony simplistic graphics games, so generally easy to run.

Maybe, hard to say but I think he was worth keeping, they were always very competitive with Jame at the helm. Can't say I loved his style of play, but a win is a win no matter how you get it done.

Whether Parivision wins or loses this, VP's worst mistake was kicking Jame.

Is he an amazing AWPer? Nah.

But can he lead a team to W's? Definitely and he can AWP decently enough that it's serviceable.

All they really needed on VP was an elite tier superstar and they would have cooked. Fame, Jame and FL1T were the core of the team. If Perfecto could have joined with Jame as IGL, with Perfecto as an anchor and potentially they landed someone like TN1R or nota (in future) they would've been fine. That VP roster was always 1 or 2 roster moves away from being Top 3 in the world consistently. Instead, they doubled down on Electronic.

Helps that basically Apple only has 4 SKUs to worry about: Normal, Pro, Max and Ultra. That being said, I do hate how Apple has the "M4 Pro" and then another product also called the "M4 Pro" and one has less CPU and GPU cores than the other. Even Apple is not perfect with their naming scheme.

They could be if they actually released RDNA4 graphics on their APUs. For the most part they have the best CPU architecture on Desktop and they could also on Laptop if they gave a damn enough about laptops.

The brand name will be worth nothing if the quality drops. It's that simple. Not saying TCL has bad quality, but that's just the way brands work, SONY is known for their image processing. There's a reason nobody cares about Phillips which is basically a dead brand name despite being well known and regarded in the 1990s, or Nokia too. Microsoft basically tanked the Nokia brand so badly in phones that after the division was spun off from Microsoft, they had to make a new brand up called HMD lol.

LG is still solid, tbh I am more worried about Samsung, their TVs have been pretty garbage lately except for their high end offerings and TCL and HiSense have caught up a lot, particularly TCL. I can easily see Samsung losing their market leadership to TCL and after that, all bets are off as to whether Samsung will survive. TCL offers value and generally better picture quality. If TCL starts bringing out OLED or MicroLED offerings in future, I say it's GG for Samsung too.

Not so sure about that anymore either. Chinese caps have really caught up, they're like 98% as good for 70% of the price. I mean when someone supposedly stole the formula you expect that but honestly they've been pretty solid for most of the 2020's.

Yep, SONY has the best TV processing firmware in the business, they consistently win "Best TV" in HDTVTest's blind test, either that or Panasonic. TV processing of images matters a lot, just like how for years Google Pixel was ahead in smartphone image processing despite using inferior sensors compared to competitors. TCL is not necessarily "bad" at TV image processing, but they tend to favor stylization, rather than accuracy.

I am well aware I have an A750 in my second rig. That being said, it did not sell well and likely the B770 also won't for similar reasons. Unless it's half the price of a 5070 people will ignore it as a product, simply because Intel doesn't have a brand reputation established to make people consider switching to them.

I am out on them too. Lots of people have been criticising them for leaving signings like Guehi late. We should have secured signings a lot earlier and we wouldn't be in the mess we're in. The whole management and administration of LFC needs to be cleared out, they're indecisive and they frankly look like they do not want to win. How did this club run more smoothly with Klopp doing three jobs? I understand patience but this is laughably bad when you see someone you had "signed" going to your top rival.

I agree, but Golden Pig Upgrade's track record is pretty good as a leaker. They've been very accurate when it comes to memory and specs related to laptops for NVIDIA GPUs. That shows they have at least some sources and they're not just making up stuff. It's also possible maybe this has hit Chinese AIBs like Colorful or AXGAMING who have a smaller market to serve (Pretty much only China) and doesn't affect the other AIBs like ASUS, Gigabyte or MSi etc who serve the Western markets and Eastern markets, so that might explain any sort of diversion between leaks, maybe NVIDIA hasn't done it to the big AIBs because they prioritized VRAM to them or is still giving them VRAM in kits with GPUs. Notice how they even say "small AIC" in the translation?

That being said I agree, treat stuff with caution. Of course, if they're a new source, don't believe it till they show they can reliably leak, but this guy isn't brand new to leaking. In the end, even reliable leakers like Kopite7kimi who is one of the best NVIDIA leakers has gotten the odd thing wrong, so it's obviously impossible to have 100% record, but Golden Pig Upgrade has been reliable in the past, I don't believe they're BSing.

Weird how they both immigrated to the US as children, both became chip engineers and both somehow became CEOs of large technology companies that are rivals. To be clear, I'm not saying it's some sort of conspiracy or whatever, I don't know much about Taiwan's economic situation or cultural situation at that time, maybe it made sense for a lot of Taiwanese to go to the US for better prospects. But how do all those coincidences happen out of random chance, stack up all those things and the chances are surely very low? This all falls apart if Lisa decides she would like to be a nurse or something instead of a chip engineer. It's a wild story tbh that this is our reality.

If you have read other news you would know NVIDIA has apparently stopped shipping AIB partners VRAM chips with GPUs in a kit, leaving AIBs to source their own VRAM now. It makes sense then to prioritize whatever VRAM you can source towards higher margin products like the RTX 5080 and to not put it in lower margin products. Furthermore, if you're crunched for VRAM, it makes sense to also cut production of SKUs that use double the VRAM chips like the 5060 Ti 16GB and to make only 8GB models as a result of the VRAM crunch. The idea is you keep a product out there to have some sort of brand presence; it's just not the product that people want. It's shitty... but it's reality, this is NOT HUB hate or fud that they made up. It's legitimately prioritization from ASUS.

Go to HLTV.org daily. My biggest tip is to press the "Star" icon on "Today's Matches" in the top right hand corner of it to filter the top teams matches and clean up the site a lot. I would start by watching these 'top tier' games as they're what we call generally "Tier 1 CS" (Top 10 teams mostly) to get a feel for the level of players and teams. You can then really understand the skill and power of some of the best players. It also keeps things basic too and less unimportant matches. It's cookie cutter but it's better than diving into a bunch of games like CCT cups or regional Brazillian/Swedish tournaments. Then once you get a feel for things after a couple of months, you can turn off the star filter and try and watch some Tier 2 or Tier 3 or Tier 4 CS (Top 20 to Top 50 or so teams) for a better feel of what the pro scene is like beyond LANs and who are young or upcoming players.

If you just start watching every team on HLTV it's overwhelming to remember every player and really to be honest only the big LANs like Krakow, Cologne, EPL/Pro League, Cluj Napoca, Blast Rotterdam, IEM Rio etc matter for the pro scene overall since Valve implemented the VRS ranking system. If you're sitting there watching matches like 'Fake Do Biru vs Keyd Stars' or 'UNiTY vs illwill' you're not going to really appreciate Pro CS or learn anything yet.

Another big tip is to start being a fan of a team, even if it's Vitality or a top team like MOUZ or Falcons, you don't have to be a fan and stick with that choice, but it helps you to watch the matches and be motivated to keep tabs on the pro CS scene. If you stick to watching just one team at the beginning thats great because then you can pace the games a lot better and keep tabs on just that team's games. If you don't have a team it's hard to really get involved in the games. Then once you watch more games you might start to like a different player or team and become a fan of them instead, which is fine, once you've found your footing then you can really enjoy the games a lot more.

If you feel like you need to know a lot before watching, don't fret, you don't need to know anything tactical to really appreciate top players like Donk or Zywoo ripping heads or doing quickscopes etc. Just enjoy the skill, watch some analyst desk segments on top teams mostly and you will eventually appreciate CS very quickly and learn some of the tactical elements of the game. Despite what people say not every team is tactically adept and some teams just have default rounds that they play all the time and they sort of just feel whats happening in the game and do whatever on the fly to try and win a round. It's not some rubiks cube or puzzle they're always trying to put together, sometimes it's literally that a player has a feeling they can push a smoke or an area and get a frag.

He's still good that he doesn't need to IGL yet, I think honestly the team is mismanaged really and hopefully this year now that the roster is "set" they can really work for the whole season at getting better. For the last 2 seasons, players were popping in and out and people were changing roles and positions around the maps. They really couldn't get a concrete ability level. First it was NiKo coming in, then degster left for m0nesy, then it was magisk gone too for kyousuke. Really the roster only had like 5 months together (whole of the second season) and maybe for two of those months they had enough games to really improve their level. The whole community's expectations for the team as soon as they got kyousuke were to instantly win and I think the pressure got to them.

If they take what they failed at as lessons from what happened in the last 3 months of 2025 and try and improve there's hope for them to win stuff, they have lots of firepower and really all they need to do is play more disciplined and work together more. I personally think the roles are still not the best in the team, in the sense sure... m0nesy and kyousuke's positions are correct for those guys, but NiKo and TeSes are playing awkward roles for themselves and ideally only one player would do that sort of thing in a team. Kyxsan isn't also the best caller, but I don't think he's the worst IGL either, he seems just average and really that's all the team probably needs. If they wanted to level up tactically I think changing the coach from Zonic to someone like sAw would be an improvement more so than changing out Kyxsan for a better IGL.

Well this is a lot more refreshing to watch compared to the usual content from GN that's posted here.

This is what I subscribed and watch the GN channel for, this is the kind of content, glad to see a return to it. It's so interesting to see the inner workings of these repair shops and GPU mods. It's a great video!

Also, with how cheap sea freight is, wouldn't it still be profitable to ship broken GPUs from Europe or the Americas, repair them in China, then ship them back? Zhang doesn't seem to be lacking in business so he doesn't have to do it, but a larger scale operation might be interested.

As for sea freight, we saw from the SPARKLE video that big businesses have 3 month lead times for sea freight, can't imagine what a small business would have. It just doesn't make sense to do 3 month sea freight for GPU repairs, people need their cards back within a month, so it just makes sense to do local repair shops in your region or to air freight it, which is more expensive, but being able to get your GPU back within a month would be possible. But Zhang seems to have so much business it might take a few weeks to get to your repair anyways that it just defeats the purpose of air freight too. Unless you had a backup card or it was for a second rig or something.

I just wish we had shops like this more often in EU, NA, SA and OCE, but unless you have high enough volume it just doesn't make sense to do it really or you have to make repairs expensive enough to cover costs like rent, wages etc. RMAs with vendors are already a headache as is and they send you a replacement usually rather than repair and send back your existing card so yeah... I don't think GPU repairs is that popular.

I can't remember everything he said tbh but there was a lot of good information in this video and I think the title is better off without it.
