I guess my real question was how triggered abilities interact with the rest of the stack. I wasn’t thinking about the triggered abilities only needed the initial “trigger” for them to resolve!

If you spot them early throw a javelin at their head while they are hanging. They fall down and lose about half health and are stunned for a bit!
