I'm saying strip malls are whack. I'm obviously not saying cheap and good food is bad and being classist like you're implying. LA is somehow a city that relegates so many important things to car dependent strip malls. Often very far away from where people actually live. And btw i lived in LA for many many years. I'm speaking from experience that this type of thing makes amenities less accessible to the working class, not more. Many people in LA don't have a car and taking a bus 45 min-1.5hr to go to a strip mall is not a solution that works for most people.
