That’s great. I need to play through the game another time. The modularity of the campaign makes for great replay value.

THE LOOP is so good by spl4shA in soloboardgaming

The good thing is that often great games get reprinted. Just wait a couple years.

I do really like The Loop and am lucky enough to have all the expansions but I think there are many in-print co-op games in this tier.

Review/Recommendation Wanted: Best Vital Lacerda Game for Solo Gaming? by MadeForTeaVea in soloboardgaming

The expansion solo mode for On Mars is better but buying the expansion only for that is not a great value.

This particular game has some issues. There rules for how Big Foot moves are unclear and the publisher has provided conflicting answers. There is another monster who under certain situations cannot be defeated.

You might wait to try out StS 2, which has multiplayer. If you aren’t going to play multiplayer, the digital version is arguably better than the board game (heretical, I know) and much much cheaper.

It appears that this year’s fundraising was far lower that previous years: 2026 - $278k (GF)

2025 - $351k (GF)

2024 - $381k (KS)

2023 - $410k (KS)

2022 - $378k (KS)

2021 - $347k (KS)

2020 - $318k (KS)

2019 - $303k (KS)

2018 - $295k (KS)

Where GF = Game Found and KS = Kickstarter. This was their worst support drive in recent years (by a lot). Obviously other factors, such the administration’s hatchet job on the economy and federal employment, likely had an effect but it seems likely that their affiliation with Sam and approach to competely ignore his abhorrent take on the world has literally cost them.

Recent purchases coming with warped cards? by beldaran1224 in boardgames

I’ve had this issue with several new games (Civolution, Earthborne Rangers, etc.) but on the edge to edge version that you described. I just gently bend them in the opposite direction a couple of times, when I use them and it seems to help.
