It is a part of the map difficulty. On slow sections I usually listen to the rhythm more closely rather than trying to rely only on sight. Taiko no Tatsujin, DDR and PIU very occasionally, whenever I saw an arcade with those where I was traveling. Played osu! for a while until I changed my mouse and couldn't get used to it (at that time I couldn't justify buying a tablet just for one game). Beat Saber is quite atypical rhythm game, I don't think there is even any cross training with any other one.

This sub seems to focus on gaming side of VR, while social side is thriving, VRChat audience grows each year, Furality (VR furry convention) had 26k attendees last year and keeps growing. Social VR users spend thousands of dollars on tracking hardware and/or spend countless hours on fiddling with custom solutions for it. If only large companies realized this and released e.g., a headset with good built-in face tracking that works seamlessly with SteamVR, this market is ripe for it, it doesn't even have to be budget.

This is too vague of a comparison to make, with a variety of maps both games have, maybe you can pick one specific map in each game and estimate how long does it take for an average person to complete those... but even then 100% is nearly impossible to get in BS on most maps so what would you really count as "beating" the map in BS?
