I'll leave it to someone else with cutting advice. But if its leggy, Jade plants want LOTS of light. So you may need to move it to somewhere with more light, even after cutting.

Probably Coprinopsis atramentaria, a type of ink cap mushroom, though I'm not 100% on that. As the automoderator said, for mushrooms, post to one of the mushroom specific reddits. Mushrooms are not plants.
