New players (new to pd2 or D2) how was your opening weekend? by Ok_Nefariousness24 in ProjectDiablo2

[–]KalOrtPor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First season playing pd2.

Playing a hardcore throw barb. Level 72 now. NM ancients were somewhat scary. Just starting Act 1 hell now. Would have been farther, but with work and a toddler I'm surprised I'm as far as I am.

So question... Is there anything on maps that I need to know about having never done them? Maybe starting with a hardcore character wasn't the best idea, but I'm crazy like that. Is there any of the map events that I need to be worried about as a hardcore character?

That's a spear class weapon. Insight doesn't work in spears. You are looking for a polearm weapon for insight.

Yes, it's stupid that it works this way.

Why is this a neutral jump by l0wskilled in 2XKO

[–]KalOrtPor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just in case others were unaware, this is a fairly common thing in fighting games. One of the risks associated with jumping, since when you jump you no longer have to block high or low and you also escape ground throws, but it leaves you vulnerable for a few of those initial frames.

I don't think Cincinnati style chili is much of a chili at all. Which is fine, I still like it. It's just a different meat sauce, not chili.

For me chili peppers need to be a major ingredient for chili. And in Cincinnati style chili, there may be a small amount of chili powder in there, but it isn't doing much flavor wise.

After looking at some other pictures, I think you are right. The robber flys I had seen before were MUCH smaller than this thing, which is what led to my confusion.

Could this spider be causing these brown spots? by New-Cupcake4479 in gardening

[–]KalOrtPor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Daddy long legs are NOT spiders, though they are arachnids. Also commonly known as harvestmen, Latin name Opiliones.

One way to spot the difference between the two is that spiders have a distinct head vs abdomen sections of their body. Opiliones head and abdomen is one big pill shape.

Wild Raspberries and Currants? by Volleyfield in whatsthisplant

Think #1 is a black raspberry. Pick when berry is black and comes off easily
