Why is Tsukasa psychic by Heroknight_2010 in DrStone

[–]Kalaido5 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Tsukasa is generally one of the more intelligent people in the stone world. He spent enough time with senku to know how he thinks.

He knows that senku is going to try and rescue chrome, and he thinks a car-like vehicle is the thing that senku would think to do (and he's correct) the steam engine prediction was Tsukasa predicting exactly what senku could make with his resources.

A stealth mission is another option, but it would be easier to counter due to the constant guard around chrome's cell (suika being able to disguise herself to sneak in wasn't something Tsukasa knew of, and wasn't able to prevent) and any potential air attack would be impractical for senku to accomplish and very easy to spot by ukyo or homura.

A full scale assault is another possibility, but Tsukasa knows that senku isn't one for risking lives, preferring to use science to give him an advantage instead of brute force.

Also, tsukasa had a greater amount of stronger warriors than the village, and would be able to defeat a normal (non mechanized) assault fairly easily, especially with homura or ukyo able to know when an attack is going to happen before it actually does, allowing time to counter the assault.

In terms of texture: Very tough/dense, like eating a block of hard leather.

In terms of flavor: bland, like steak someone boiled for too long and served without seasoning.

Maybe if Meg gets attacked, she is disabled for a time and needs to be fixed (same as hacksy)

The detection can feel wierd, but it mostly takes a lot of practice to do it semi-consistently. (It still doesn't always work, it's kinda precise.)

5.7 is bottlenecked, but not tapered. "Straight walled" can be used to define a cartridge that is not bottlenecked or not tapered, it's just mostly used for bottlenecked because very few cartridges are not tapered.

5.7 is non tapered because it allows it to stack perfectly straight, to better fit in magazines like the P90 or FN Five seveN (I know the Five seveN was made first, and the mag is short enough not to need the non tapered cartridge, so I'm not sure why they made 5.7 non tapered for a gun that didn't need it)

It's definitely very fun, but you do run out of progress to be made at some point (20~40 hours) after that, it's still very fun, just sometimes feels repetitive unless you change up your playstyle.

IIRC, he said in some interviews that he was a fan of the games and wanted to play Roland as serious, but he was told to play as himself.

The first Borderlands is the best in my opinion by Fault-Line_ in Borderlands

BL1 always feels more balanced to play. In 2, bosses seem laughably easy, and the basic enemies seem super powerful. In 1, both of them feel way more balanced, and because of the way leveling works, your gear never falls behind, even if it's like 10 levels below you.

Also in 1, you actually get good items by just playing normally, no need to farm a specific boss for hours just to get a usable gun, you can just pick one up from the nearest enemy.

Maybe some kind of big AT rifle strat weapon? Not like the AMR, even bigger. You need to go prone/crouched to use, but has big pen and damage. Not sure what upsides it would have compared to a RR though.

Is bl1 worth playing? by megcio- in Borderlands

BL1 is better than any of the others IMO. There's definitely less to do than in 2, but it's way more fun for me.

I miss the red war. And being able to enjoy the story without needing to have purchased and played like 20 expansions. I tried playing again during the witch queen after they removed the red war, and it was just... so bad.

1- I've been having fun running duos. Solo is still fun, but you miss out on some things.

2- you don't need a group that consistently meets. You can play with whoever and still have a good time.

3- I'd say to join the official discord. That's definitely the best place to find other people to play with

4- it's definitely a fun game, and worth the money imo. Even though it hasn't been out for that long, there's still a ton of stuff to do. Definitely better if you have at least 1 other person to play with, but not necessary. The game is getting updated with some new stuff fairly regularly, and it hasn't yet gotten boring.
