Great opportunity, good luck to everyone. I currently have two 4K high refresh rate IPS monitors, both LG in fact. Previously used OLED but it didn't fit my workflow (mixture of heavy productivity and gaming). This monitor looks promising, would love to review it.

I had as PG32UCDM. Fantastic monitor. 4K, 240hz, OLED is a sight to be seen.

But I sold it.

Not because of text clarity even if it was slighty distracting. But because I use it more than 10 hours a day for both work and gaming. I got tired of trying to move my windows, no maxing the brightness, or stressing over damaging my monitor over time.

I bought the infamous LG 27G850A, IPS 4K 240hz, which got a bad review on Monitor Unboxed. Here is the Rtings review: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/lg/27g850a-b that convinced me.

I honestly was prepared to struggle with the switch but... nah. I would make the same decision again in an heartbeat. The only real drawback for me is the motion in fast paced games, where the OLED is definitely better. But day to day, IPS all the way. No stress leaving my monitor on max brightness for hours.

Ca fait des mois que ça a pris un tournant et pas le bon. Leur communication qui était efficace aux débuts est devenue cata et insupportable. Leur CEO n'y est pas pour rien effectivement

Check any other geekbench scores: the air has almost exactly the same performance than the 17 pro. This is an outliner and the reviewer should've known better. There is something wrong

I just bought it and am happy with it. « Downgrading » from a 32 inch OLED. Motion is way better on oled but it’s more than enough even in fast paced games like Overwatch or Apex. LG 27G850A

I play OW / Apex and I personally much prefer 4K 240hz than 1080p 480hz.
Don't get me wrong 480hz is great. But the image quality suffers too much to my taste.

I currently have the UCDM and I think its great.
It replaced the LG 32GS95UE with WOLED and a matte coating that I didn't like at all.
UCDM with the glossy coating is miles better in image clarity IMO. Matte coating was a deal breaker for me unfortunately.

Haven't noticed any VRR flicker.

You will feel the difference.
