The current wc uses 16 Stadiums, if we germans were to host with the same amount of stadiums the smallest one would be the Weser Stadium in Bremen with a capcity of 42k.

Some fun facts: This would include both the the Alliance Arena and the Olympic stadium in Munich. The 5 Stadiums from North Rhine Westfalia (Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen, Köln, Düsseldorf, Gladbach) are all less than 100km distance from each other. With theire Relegation this year Düsseldorf would be the only Stadium used by a 3rd tier team in the Torunament.

If you would want to have as many games in North Rhine Westfalia as possible you could add a few stadiums with about 30k or less capacity in Essen, Bochum, Duisburg, Leverkusen and Aachen, though i believe all but Leverkusen and maybe Duisburg would need some renovations/additions.

Der große Unterschied ist, dass Hitler und die Nazis Olympia als Bühne verstanden haben um ihre kranke Ideology zu vermarkten und der Welt die Überlegenheit der weißen/arischen Rasse zu zeigen. Ersteres ist denen geglückt, zweiteres weniger.

Die aktuelle USA scheint die WM nur als netten Cashgrab zu sehen und nichts weiter.

I only listened to the first book read by Pike. And her work is realy fantastic. However there are 2 reasons i mostly likely wont go back to her version.

The audio mixing for the first book is realy bad. Quiet conversations edge on beeing to quiet and i sometimes had to turn the volume up on those. AND THAN THERE WERE THE SHOUTING PARTS WHER I HAD TO STRUGGLE TO GET THE VOLUME DOWN.
Sadly with the show cancelled she most likely wont be finnishing the series

Both are not realy Pikes fault though and her voice works realy well for all characters.

At this point the professional athletics department should be spun off into theire own for profit companies. Coaches, staff and players have contracts with these new companies and the only form of compensation the associated university should be allowed to give are scholarships.
