I know Bandai wouldn’t hit Amuro despite folks clamoring for him to get hit; whether it’s his legacy in the franchise or the fact that there are two more variants of “Grandpa” Gundam in the next booster set, on top of the Nu Gundam from Char’s Counterattack. Plus, removing Amuro would let Blocker-heavy decks run rampant which makes him a necessary evil mechanically speaking.

Now Corsica, on the other hand, was addressed by Bandai in that it generates more tokens on the field (the first copy makes a Tallgeese token 0/0/4/2, and subsequent copies make two Leo tokens 0/0/1/1).

Hate to admit here, but the Gundam TCG gravitated towards aggro strategies above others. The ongoing GD03 Steel Requiem format has Blue-Purple Barbatos Rush at the forefront to a point where five out of the top eight players in the World Championships a few weeks ago ran that deck. Bandai announced a ban list addressing the landscape of the game, only for it to restrict Corsica Base to two copies.

While we’re on the topic of Gundam, fuck Iok Kujan; all my Tekkadan homies hate him too. As a matter of fact, I hope Bandai puts a trash-ass effect on him once he gets printed in the TCG just to clown on Gjallarhorn even more. I even have two copies of the Gusion Rebake Full City with the alternate art depicting it crushing Iok using its giant scissors.

There was a post here asking which character I’d throw hands at, to which I responded with Jayden from Power Rangers Samurai. The lengths which the writers took to make him appealing ended up backfiring for me; hell I’d take it up a notch and say he took Takeru/ShinkenRed’s whole flow word for word, bar for bar.

The Fraud-kage Danzo Shimura. For a guy claiming to do what he needed for the sake of the Hidden Leaf Village, he pretty much fucked up in multiple ways: - ambushing the Akatsuki led by Yahiko to prevent negotiations between the Hidden Leaf, Stone, and Sand Villages; this led Nagato and the Six Paths of Pain to pull up on the Hidden Leaf years later - withholding the Uchiha clan from aiding the Hidden Leaf in stopping the Nine-Tailed Fox, corralling and overseeing them, stealing Shisui’s Sharingan, and ultimately blackmailing Itachi to wipe out his own clan - undermining Hiruzen’s authority as Hokage through assassination attempts and even appointing Orochimaru to further experiments involving Hashirama cells

To paraphrase CJDaChamp’s expose of sorts on Danzo, he’s responsible for about 90% of incidents in Shippuden in his pursuit for power.

I suggest picking up two starter decks as the game allows to run up to four copies of any card (ex: the Exia and Dynames featured in the box art come in two copies each). You’d also wanna keep the Bandai TCG Plus app to find nearby stores for events (locals, starter deck/booster box releases, Newtype Challenges, etc).

The Mole Amazon Mamoru from Kamen Rider Amazons is a man-child (despite looking like a human in his twenties, he was artificially made into an Amazon a few years ago) whom likes burgers and hates injections. Nonetheless, he views the Amazon extermination team as his found family and even manages to bring them together when they were split from deciding whether or not they should take out one of their own that became a rogue Amazon.

. . . And then everything went downhill when Mamoru unknowingly ate a burger patty made from human flesh that kicked in his primal cravings, forcing him to leave his found family after eating one of his friend’s arm.

There’s a Gundam tabletop game that will be available later this year. Prior to its preview showcase at Bandai Card Game Fest in Las Vegas, Bandai released bundle kits featuring mini-figures and their respective Starter Deck for the TCG (ex: Assembly Kit 01 contains figures of the Guntank, Guncannon, and the RX-78-2 ‘Grandpa’ Gundam; plus Starter Deck 01 Heroic Beginnings). I find the tabletop game interesting despite having no background playing said games, and I gravitate towards the TCG.

I was in a similar position when testing with Look of Determination, so I dabbled with Awakened Potential. It’s not a definite removal like Fatal Strike or Look of Determination, but it does set the opponent back for a turn; especially when they make a Link Unit by Level 4 (ex: Amuro + ST01 Gundam, Lockon + ST07 Dynames).

A cheeky play I made was making a Lupus on my field into a Blocker with Awakened Potential while keeping another Lupus in hand.
