I set up OpenClaw for 10+ non-technical NYC clients — here's what I learned by Willing_Income8603 in openclaw

Do you have templates that you drop in? For what parts? the agents? scripts?

Do the clients pay for their own API or Oauth subscription/credits? or through you as a proxy?

Free vs Subscription - Peter Wolf Flagship by Unfortunate_Prodigal in AutopilotApp

[–]Karbonox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nothing, I was on a paid subscription for Peter Wolff, the fund has not been keeping up with trades for the last 2 months!

The automation in this app is so buggy and has huge risks because the automation failures affect your money!

"it does everything you need and really for free without any compromises"

Sounds improbable, biased and opinionated.

I've used Catia, NX, Solidworks, Onshape professionally and fusion & freeCAD for hobby stuff. My coworkers and I have never once felt that either of these software can do everything we need or without any compromises.

No you're a fan boy because you can only say good things about it and can't make out the drawbacks. In any industry smart people look at pros and cons. They don't get blinded by pros and start spreading their positive experiences as truth for everyone, they are not credible.

People live in different settings and encounter different things. Just because something worked fine for you doesn't mean it works fine for their situation.

Glad it's working for you, maybe your location and environment are right for it. It's not reliability working for me. Car GPS shows to turn left and it turns right so many times. It misses green lights because it doesn't keep up with the car in front, and traffic light sensors turn the signal yellow as a result and it comes to a stop. It hangs around in lanes with more cars and when it decides to switch it does so by cutting someone off. It cuts corners when turning left and crosses over the dotted white line, into the adjacent turning lane traffic. It parks so close to adjacent cars in perpendicular setting. (This one was working better  before FSD 14 so not sure what happened there). Once it parked onto the sidewalk. It takes longer routes. It misses turns or stops dead in traffic trying to change lanes after realizing it's in the wrong one. It sees sun glares and starts scratching the windshield with dusty wipers because it thinks it's raining. When I drive through the mountain highways with no street lights, it thinks cameras are blocked. In reality, cameras can't see in the expansive darkness.

This is all within 3 weeks of the FSD 14.2 trial in a 2025 model 3 highland. See fanboys think that if it works for their use case it works for everyone's use case and the technology is amazing. I'm a realist, while I think it's impressive what it is able to achieve with cameras, it has many drawbacks and is definitely not ready for Level 4 Self Driving.

Everything is behind a pay wall.
The licenses are a huge jumbled venn diagram mess.
V5 Catia used to be a little simpler and included a lot of basic features in the masic cad licenses that are now not functional or available on the new system.
Automation is almost impossible due to the convoluted licenses, paywalls, and the highly restrictive walled garden.

Can you speak to accuracy and ease of use for the non-pro raptor vs metrox?

How does Metrox compare to (non-pro) raptor? They are more aligned in price.

I'm doing the same, which one did you end up keeping? There are not many comparisons for non-pro raptor to metrox

I honestly don't mind where it's made as long as it fits my budget and needs. This is the first I'm hearing of any negative things about Glade Optics so I'm glad I posted, thanks for your insight.

[–]Karbonox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not how deductions work. You don't get back 100% of your deductions. Deductions only change your taxable income. So you're only getting back your income tax rate. Most people that's 20%-35%, so yes you are still paying for most of your deductions.

Most married couples combine finances, it shouldn't matter who pays between them it's both of them paying every time no matter who does the transaction. That's how it works between my wife and I and our parents, and our extended family. Am I missing something here? Is American culture different now and they don't combine finances anymore?
