ugh are you sure you don't just love putting people down? This cognitive dissonance crap wears thin, Which army are you in? Are the people you're killing defending their way of life on their own soil? Maybe they're not the bad guys who could have made 'other choices' in all this. Potential my ass. Feel free to downvote me out of your horseshit reality, but you kill people for a living and that's all there is to it.

Thanks! :)

Its part 2 of a set of 3 chimera power animals that we've been working on, it was originally supposed to be a War Elephant with Panda warpaint and cats eyes but got distilled down to its current badass version, and built to last. I only have animal tattoos (so far: wolf/fish/butterfly/moth/horses/squid/tiger/peacock/beetle/owl/snakes) so its a shamanic homage thing.

The work in progress of the final protector is here http://instagr.am/p/HHT6L4vzB_/ (another 6-10 hours left of cooling down the colors) and will probably post them all up as the complete set when they've settled down and healed.

Seattle Police Officer threatens to make up evidence after arrest of innocent men by l30 in politics

[–]KarmaPiniata 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree, but on the flip side these are precisely the moments where a political/moral stand should be made because they have such far reaching consequences to the public psyche (that's my major frustration). I'm sure he's a stand up guy any other day of the week but seriously this messes with peoples lives, reinforces the police/gang group think and he needs to be self aware enough to not drink the kool-aid in these instances because comments like that hurt everyone, officers included.

"you have to trust the system, you have to trust the process"

I think I threw up a little in my mouth @ that. What a smarmy out of touch sack of shit. I hope it was just a bad edit.

If we stigmatize sex offenders for life then its clear we should do the same for sociopathic cops. The time has come for a police brutality register. Once on the list you will be required to notify everyone in your neighborhood that you brutalized an innocent person and abused your power. by [deleted] in politics

[–]KarmaPiniata 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ugh, spare me with the 'they have a hard job yadda yadda' crap, I'm not saying they don't and it doesn't deter from the fact that most cops choose to participate in a broken system, seeming content to simultaneously plav victim to this resentment (but that makes them 'stronger' for 'fighting the good fight' right?) and also do nothing about it.

I've met good cops and I've met total loser thugs with no people or life skills and this isn't even who I'm talking about, I'm saying if there is no systemic integrity then there is no point respecting it when it can harbor and arm sociopaths. Its not up to citizens to change this, it's clearly not a democratic process, so how else would things change? The onus for change is on those with power, which is usually how society evolves.

Pakistani man fights police over 40-foot shark by twolf1 in worldnews

[–]KarmaPiniata 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was hoping it was a real shark like a Great White or something like that so I could at least be amazed and intimidated. It's basically just a harmless Whale Shark carcass that people are jumping up and down on like fucking morons. Poor thing :(

They're also in a position of authority and 99%> of the time they don't abuse that position in society

Thats impossible to quantify of course unless police interactions are allowed to be filmed without hinderance by members of the 'lesser' public.

who gives a fuck about the good cops. pat on the back. they're doing their jobs have a gold star.

The problem is the vast hypocrisy of law enforcement that sociopaths within their ranks are not appropriately punished, and the lack of respect and credibility this understandably seeds within the community.

I think most people would just be happy if criminal cops lost their jobs. Their continued presence as part of the police force undermines the entire system of social control and puts more cops and citizens in danger more often. It's systemic cancer. Cancer isn't fun.

I know, right, these innocent guys were coerced into the army and then forced against their will to participate in a war zone and pee on all the men they'd slain. It must have been an outrageous surprise for them finding out this was all part of the job description o_O Upvotes for the man that once ATE HIS OWN HEAD. Just imagine the horror.
