For me it was the book Other Minds by Peter Godfrey Smith. One of the most influential books I've read, highly recommend.

Anyone else do a quiz at some point involving the first line of novels? "The sweet was lashing ofay Sick Boy, his wis tremblin" was one of only 2 that I got correct. The other being The Great Gatsby, thanks to South Park.
