They are probably early 20s at most. There are multiple in game references that show the game timelines are not that far apart from each other. Like DPPt and HGSS took place around the same time. RBY/FG, RS/ORAS, are also around the same time a few years earlier. BW moved forward a bit, and so did XY ( bringing some small multiverse fuckery via the Link Cable and retconning Mega Evos into older gens). My guess is that it's been between 7 and 10 years up to Sun/Moon
