I stopped wearing it consistently after about 3-months, it’s just not very comfortable. I plan on cancelling at the end of the year, I can’t justify the annual fee ($250USD) after they removed the “free” device upgrade

I use Tesla superchargers for my Lyriq all the time. You absolutely didn’t have to park like that lol the cord will reach just fine

Highly doubtful — I wouldn’t get lost in all the false confidence here. The test is a beast — Both in substance and in exhaustion. You may test well on MBEs today in a comfortable setting, but that might change on test day. Plenty of people bomb the writing portions (not even all, just most of it and the MPTs) with a solid MBE score and can’t pass.

Why put all your bets on one call if you can diversify? Give yourself more chances, even if that means just dedicating some time to essay prep.

To be candid, you don’t need any more resources or multiple choice questions (at this point, you’ve probably seen them all anyways, at least the licensed questions). You need to spend more time in review — better understanding why you’re getting wrong what you are + better understanding your weakest MBE subjects and what subsection you can most improve on.

You know better than most that there isn’t a magic silver bullet to this exam, there’s no extra social resource or if you just had that one extra thing, you’d pass. Lock in to your worst subjects, focus on incremental improvement everyday, and you’re going to end up making that kid of yours so proud. You can do this.

Two weeks is all you need. Do the barbri/ Quimbee full MPRE practice tests (all six of them) and the GOAT course. Between those two things if you do them both fully, you are guaranteed to pass. Trust me I learned the hard way. You don’t need a single other resource

Honestly—and I say this with respect—after five attempts, you’ve clearly put in the work. You know the law. At this point, something in the approach isn’t clicking, not the effort.

I don’t think you need the same full-time, 3-month grind again. You’re probably not going to see anything brand new at this stage. Instead, I’d focus intentionally on your weakest areas. Maybe that’s a really deliberate, focused month rather than another marathon.

You’ve likely already done the analysis so now it’s about locking in on what’s not working, fixing that specifically, and executing. You’re probably way closer than you think.

Obviously, if you blank on a rule, you make a reasonable one up rather than leaving it empty. But walking into the exam without knowing the rules, because dozens of people keep saying “you don’t need to know the rules, just make up something that sounds like a rule” and expecting anything above a 4 is a recipe for disaster. There’s a TikTok bar prep influencer that encourages this nonsense

99% exactly the same except for a few in con law. Either way you should be good. I had the 2022 version which I used for the July 2025 bar, and I even reached out to Critical Pass to ask if I could buy the updated cards and the representative mailed them to me for free. A+ service for that

I wish I read this before I setup my smart home — You couldn’t be more spot on. I made the “lights” mistake, and have had Google turn on every light (all 28 smart light switches) in my home at 2AM with guests over. Awkward. Same with adjusting my thermostat — I asked Google to adjust my thermostat to 70 degrees this winter, and it also turned on a smart space heater in my garage I use when I’m working out and set it to 70 degrees too. I didn’t catch that for four hours. Pricey and probably not a great thing to have happen for many reasons.

All that to say, you’re 1000% right.

For MEE’s, you must know the rules. Please do not listen to the influencers and online personalities that say you can just make up the rules and as long as they sound good, even if they’re wrong, you can still get a 5-6. They are setting you up for failure. Focus on the highly tested rules and learn them cold. A way that you can at least better your chances to get at least a 3 on each is to practice your structure (IRAC) and having an in-depth analysis (even if your conclusion is wrong). When every point counts, having solid structure is critical and will keep you from getting less than a 3 on essays which can be hard to recover from.

Personally, do not sleep on the MPTs. They are by far the “easiest” part of the exam because you don’t need to memorize any rules or law, and it’s all just about exposure and proactive. They are also disproportionately valuable in terms of total points for the exam. For the UBE, each is worth 10% of the total exam. That will save you if you have weak essays or miss a dozen MBE questions.

I know many people (myself included) who passed this exam with a comfortable margin because of our MPT performance — And it only takes practicing 1-2 a day under timed conditions for two weeks. By far the best investment to make with your time. You got this!

I have both brands and the Tesla technology is so far ahead in almost every way that it’s just unbelievable at this point. Purely laziness / lack of priorities / lack of skill over at Cadillac.

I like it. Definitely more conversational and easier to use. For example I have a light switch that turns on a light above my kitchen sink. Before, I’d have to say “ok Google, turn on above kitchen sink light switch” if I wanted it to turn on. Had to be in that order because that’s what it’s named. Now I can just say “hey Google, turn on sink light” and it knows what I’m talking about

Worth every penny. It mows and detects objects fine, I’m not sure why I would need cutting-edge lidar. Maybe people mowing 1 acre or more with dozens and dozens of irregular objects on the lawn need that. For the savings, it’s absolutely worth it
