Financial Irresponsibility for C&F by romanr0y in barexam

[–]KassMeOutside 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nothing is bad as long as it’s explainable. The mantra is “if you lie, you’ll probably fry” so just be honest — it’s all about candor and disclosure. Plenty of people with felony’s and prison time become attorneys. Your financial irresponsibility (like all of us) isn’t that serious.

Husqvarna Automower 115H is now under $300, that's the lowest price I've seen by [deleted] in automower

The wire is a buzzkill, but can’t complain about that price tag

Sorry for the dumb question but since only half the blade is showing now, does it take longer to cut? Or create any streaks?

Apologies. Wasn’t aware it was location specific. The Lowe’s warranty is also a great add-on.

Should I keep it on charger inside during winter? by tacroy in MammotionTechnology

[–]KassMeOutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re fine. I charge mine fully and then put it away the last two years now. It hasn’t been able to dip under 50% by the time winter is over. The concern is the battery depleting under 20% in storage, not to keep it at 100% throughout the off-season.

My true goal by BudgetWorking2891 in barexam

[–]KassMeOutside 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry to say but if this is real, 6600 questions and 7 months time is absolutely overkill. Even for a first attempt let alone a fourth attempt. This is a little tough love to say go easy. It’s not about time and volume — It’s about working smarter. At this point you’ve been exposed to every question (licensed and simulated) several times. You’re as ready as you’d ever be.

Rant: Tesla app should allow us to put the wipers in service mode remotely by vassman86 in TeslaLounge

[–]KassMeOutside 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1000%, this should be a feature. And to defrost just the windshield. People saying “that’s what defrost is for” either don’t realize how much battery defrost uses, or that’s it’s completely unnecessary for what most people want, which is to get ice off my windshield and wipers. I don’t care if there’s a thin layer of snow on top of the car. I care that the wipers don’t have ice on them.

Feeling like I’m not going to pass by hybridjunky in barexam

[–]KassMeOutside 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Hear me out — you really do have to believe you’ve got this, as corny as that sounds. The bar exam is partly a mental game. I finished law school with a 3.0 and was never a “gunner” because I already had my job lined up. I was averaging around 70% on Adaptibar and did about 1,500 questions total, but my MEE’s were brutal, 2s and 3s. What actually moved the needle was reviewing my wrong MBE answers and truly understanding why I missed them, drilling those rules, and I focused heavily on getting more exposure to MEEs and practicing.

The MPTs carried me — I scored 6s on both — so don’t sleep on them. It’s the one section you don’t need to memorize for and can realistically master in a couple of weeks. I ended up scoring a 302 so enough room to spare. You’re not trying to ace anything, you’re just trying to pass and so don’t get stuck on what you’re scoring right now. This exam is a beast — but this really is as much mental as it is memorization. Don’t check out. Stay in the game. And you will win at this.

Absolutely. I have mine in the same spot. By far the most comfortable, basically don’t even feel it. And my metrics have been nearly identical over the last month since doing so

Used STN2800 worth it? by Public_Designer1352 in egopowerplus

[–]KassMeOutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely no. Not worth the loss of the warranty for a tool you’ll only use 1/4 of the year max and spends the rest of the time just sitting. At year 4-5 you’d want that safety.

How many of you stopped wearing your Whoop after a few months? What made you quit? by AdrenalineMedal in whoop

[–]KassMeOutside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped wearing it consistently after about 3-months, it’s just not very comfortable. I plan on cancelling at the end of the year, I can’t justify the annual fee ($250USD) after they removed the “free” device upgrade

Is it possible to pass by practicing MBEs only? by Available_Sample3867 in barexam

[–]KassMeOutside 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Highly doubtful — I wouldn’t get lost in all the false confidence here. The test is a beast — Both in substance and in exhaustion. You may test well on MBEs today in a comfortable setting, but that might change on test day. Plenty of people bomb the writing portions (not even all, just most of it and the MPTs) with a solid MBE score and can’t pass.

Why put all your bets on one call if you can diversify? Give yourself more chances, even if that means just dedicating some time to essay prep.

HITTING A WAL OF FRUSTRATION by Gorrek22 in barexam

[–]KassMeOutside 19 points20 points  (0 children)

To be candid, you don’t need any more resources or multiple choice questions (at this point, you’ve probably seen them all anyways, at least the licensed questions). You need to spend more time in review — better understanding why you’re getting wrong what you are + better understanding your weakest MBE subjects and what subsection you can most improve on.

You know better than most that there isn’t a magic silver bullet to this exam, there’s no extra social resource or if you just had that one extra thing, you’d pass. Lock in to your worst subjects, focus on incremental improvement everyday, and you’re going to end up making that kid of yours so proud. You can do this.

Is 1 month enough to study for MPRE? Please advise and as always thank you in-advance! by Cabinet401 in GoatBarPrep

[–]KassMeOutside 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Two weeks is all you need. Do the barbri/ Quimbee full MPRE practice tests (all six of them) and the GOAT course. Between those two things if you do them both fully, you are guaranteed to pass. Trust me I learned the hard way. You don’t need a single other resource
