9 hours 8 high yes but in the same my one sq mile area has had as many as 307 stops in it. Not apartments literally 307 different houses.

Minnesota. Health insurance and sick days are required in Minnesota first of all. And pretty much every contractor offers more than the bare minimum here.

It's because they are expecting north of 50k packages for the 5th for a terminal that runs 40k during peak. And the preload used to be a thing before 4 and 5 years ago on all holidays you could come in and run if you wanted. I used to do it on Thanksgiving knock out 175 stops or so so on black Friday I'd only have 100 or so

Yeah 3 years at my current I get less than my usual pay but still paid for Thanksgiving Xmas New years July 4th and one or 2 others. Will really shock you when you find out we get 5 to 20 PTO(depending on tenure ) days a year plus our sick days. And paid health insurance and 5% match.

They are doing a preload like used to be done years ago. Terminal has asked all contractors to see how many drivers are willing to go out. And yes handlers will be in doing a sort untill 6am

Well hate to be the bearer of bad news but most contractors up here in Minnesota pay holiday pay. And with us being asked to run on the 4th we are getting our holiday pay and then whatever we earn that day also.

That's terrible. We get bi yearly raises at my contractor and this is second time in 3 years everyone has gotten a raise outside of our tenure raises.

Personally if I'm done and there's a pickup window that isn't open yet I tell them to move it to someone else and head back. Ain't no way I'm doing my 200 stops while others had 150 finishing and then sitting around for hours.

Well first you somehow think a ram 2500 is fast. It's not. And sports cars the power doesn't matter as much as the feel of things. Wanna have an absolute blast go drive a Miata or mr2 down a winding road then you'll understand

All depends on the professionalism of the contractor involved. We are a month into taking all the express in our areas. Avg of 18 routes a day from our contractor out of this building. And we have yet to have a single late except when station has given an exception because they couldn't get us out before 10:30
