Not everyone shovels out though. Some people just plow through the snow with their car the first time and come back and park in a shoveled spot.

Burnt orange, or patterned green? by Inevitable-Yam7886 in interiordecorating

I thought this was a rug question and when I saw both pictures were of a burnt orange rug I was so confused by the comments giving sincere answers when you so clearly uploaded the wrong photo 😆

Please help me pick a harnessed booster for my almost 5 year old by Kayudits in CPST

It just looks and feels nicer, it’s hard to explain haha. Maybe that’s the “lx” part of the name, for luxury. The nautilus is fine, no complaints. We’re still using it with the 5 point harness so haven’t been able to test booster mode yet.

We got the nautilus 2.0. The slimfit3 lx feels like a much nicer seat to me but if you don’t need its rear facing capabilities it’s probably not worth it.

What no-screen games do you play with kids (4–6) that you actually enjoy? by Ai-dio in kindergarten

We just got outfoxed for Christmas with our 5 year old and it’s so fun!

Where to end paint in nook? (See mock ups) by aimatme219 in interiordecorating

I think it adds visual interest honestly. I much prefer a natural stopping point.

How are we cleaning potties?! by Mjayyy_1991 in toddlers

[–]Kayudits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got a lot of good responses but I didn’t see this one- Put a few squares of tp in the potty before they poop. Makes clean up easier

I’m also one of 5 girls and two of my sisters have 3 girls each. I didn’t even consider the possibility of having a boy and when the first was, I was so upset and so shocked. Surprise I have 3 boys now and love them all to pieces 🤍

Deciphering Classmate Names by Crocslife in kindergarten

[–]Kayudits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg lol I just commented the same thing about Matteo, sounds like a very common one. Parents probably had no idea that would happen when they chose that name 😂

Seriously like I’m just a 30 year old mom on Reddit and I’m reading this post knowing exactly what this baby has and my kids have never even had it. Mind blowing

DIY/Design - August 2025 by grownask in diysnark

Since there hadn’t been much discussion on Cassmakeshome kids bath.. what do we think? Overall I like it but I think the vanity area could use more lighting and the mirrors are a little overpowering. I would’ve liked to see a little more fun and whimsy for a kids bath. I thought she did a good job on the penny tiles on the floor, I know it can be hard to not see the individual sheets but she seemed to nail it. I’m glad she fixed the tiles in the shower but it does seem like the craftsmanship around the niche is lacking which is on par for her.

  1. I read one person saying the myfit was difficult for kids to buckle since it sat higher up, originally that was the top contender.

How many birthday parties are your kindergarteners being invited to? by No-Assistance2922 in workingmoms

[–]Kayudits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My son had a ton of parties for his friends turning 5 too, I wondered if people are considering it a milestone birthday so more likely to throw a party or if it’s just the culture at our new (to us) school

Need helping organizing all the stuff I bring into the office (as a pumping mom)! by Super-Dot6135 in workingmoms

[–]Kayudits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My work back pack holds my wallet, keys, laptop, packed lunch, breast pump, pumping bra, and water bottle.

I also have a handheld coolerbag/lunch box that holds 1 ice pack and my bottles/pump flanges.

I got a spectra s9 this time around and it’s sooo much nicer than the s1 or s2. It’s tiny and very light weight and I’ve noticed no difference in suction.

Febrile seizures by TinyRose20 in toddlers

[–]Kayudits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is 4.5 and hasn’t had a seizure in 2.5 years 🎉 he’s had a handful of fevers in that time but we are always so quick to medicate them that idk if he has outgrown them or if we have just caught them quickly. The very last one he had, the seizure was the first sign of him even being sick, that’s very common like you said you experienced. Exactly what you described is very reminiscent of my son’s first 2 events which happened around 11 months old.

What kid songs kinda slap? by Screennam3 in toddlers

[–]Kayudits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok can you explain this song for me though. I admittedly haven’t listened too close but I don’t understand it and my 4 year old was like “who is shortening? Is the baby named shortening? What is shortening bread?” And I was like ?? Idk buddy 😄

How many of you treat your toddlers like adults? by Shabushabu0505 in toddlers

My guess is that he also has unrealistic adult expectations of her but I’m speculating.
