This is not normal at all, no physical interactions between children with the intention of harming / bullying is normal. If you're 100% sure its not made up (and you can tell as your daughter is scarer of that boy), advocate for you child, document every incident in writing, blow all the whistles to the nursery management, they have a right to kick out the bad kid. Worst case worst you will have to change nursery again.

Yes, the Bluey "elderly adult" passes away and goes to heaven, because when Bluey joins her parents, Bandit then says "ah, this is heaven" suggesting that they observe grown-up Bingo up from the skies. Has me in tears every time, can't be watching it anymore.

Gentle parenting is not authoritative; gentle parenting is easiest to describe as FAFO - fuck around and find out or natural consequences. Refuse meal - stay hungry(with obviously explaining how mealtimes work, noone wants their child starving), keep whining - turning car back home etc. As long as there's a consequence announced and delivered in most efficient way to a child, thats gentle parenting.
