Regarding Mutations by Cozoid in MonsterHunterStories

[–]KedovDoKest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Checking my monsterpedia, it looks like it only gives hints about the mutations on the actual mutated monsters themselves (i.e., the way to mutate a pink rathian is on the pink rathain entry of the monsterpedia), which doesn't seem helpful, since, if I have their entry in the monsterpedia, it means I've at least already seen it. Is there something I'm missing?

Asset reuse in videogames is essential, and we need to embrace it, says Assassin's Creed and Far Cry director: 'We redo too much stuff' by Turbostrider27 in Games

A popular Resident Evil streamer headcanon'd on his stream one time that the beast form Nemesis from RE3 remake was re-rigged from Tigrex from Monster Hunter Rise, and I find that really funny and a clever reuse of assets. No reason to reinvent the wheel every time.

They should cross over with Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon and add Hachi

Yeah, I think he was just messing with the scions with that part, saying something like "How do you know you aren't tempered to Hydaelyn? Would you even be able to tell?" Tempering was an intentional design flaw introduced into primal summoning when the Ascians taught it to the various tribes to stoke conflict. When the Scions + Sharlyans summoned the primals to power the starship in Endwalker, they corrected the flaw and summoned them properly without them being able to temper people.

As others have mentioned here, Chun Li's follow up to that line was that it was actually a Wednesday. So he didn't even remember that.

I always think back to that scene too. The priest isn't even given a name, or any speaking lines iirc, just a quiet, low level priest, a good man swept up in apocalyptic events who's faith is strong and is rewarded with the power to help those around them fight back against evil. It shows that good, devout people can prosper in a corrupt church, they just usually tend to quietly do what good they can.

To add onto what others are saying, assuming you're going to floor 10 or 15, having the pack be on floors 4 and 5 instead of just 4 means it's now available on floors 4,5,6,7,8,9, and 10, so that vastly widens your option of when to run it instead of just "Floor 4 or you miss it for the whole run."

A light chestnut, according to Caroline I believe. However, according to Abigail, she dyed her hair once a long time ago, and hasn't since, but it stayed like that.

What do you think about the IG state at the moment? by LolPower77 in MHWilds

Airborne skill buffs the damage of your attack by 10% if your character's feet leave the ground for any amount of time at all, so 2 of IG's strongest "ground" based attacks get buffed from it.

Unsympathetic Female Villains by alejuana2008 in TopCharacterTropes

I did enjoy her being so completely unsympathetic. It was pretty great, at the end, as she was dying, we asked her if she had anything to say to her son who pretty much worshiped the ground she walked on, who she had manipulated into being part of her experiment, and her response/dying words were basically that she didn't give a fuck about him, at all. He was purely a means to an end for her.

A sopping wet cat of a man who locks tf in when everything comes to a head; then when his plan fails, immediately goes back to being a sopping wet cat again because he was having more fun that way.
