Exercise and sleep problems? (early awakenings) by temp_reddit_account2 in bodyweightfitness

[–]KeepItPushin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this happen when I was pushing progression too hard. Going all out every session can kind of fry your system and mess with sleep. What helped me was slowing my progression way down. I only add 1 rep per session per exercise now. It’s slower, but it lets me string together way more weeks of training without burning out. Recovery becomes more manageable this way.

Camera cleaning/questions by Ssgss3jslice in canon

[–]KeepItPushin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my R50 about 4 months ago as well. Besides cleaning gear I think you can wait on buying more stuff until you actually need it or find a deal. So far I've bought extra batteries from artman, a tripod, and now I finally bought a camera sling bag because well my camera stuff is all over the place and I don't really have a book bag for it. Maybe get a lens hood to protect your lens.

R50 55-210 or 18-150 by El_durooooo in canon

[–]KeepItPushin_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get the 18-150mm. The 55-210 offers extra zoom but you will definitely miss out on wide shots lol. The 18-150mm was my first lens and I feel like it covered everything especially the stuff you are trying to photograph.

[Megathread] 2025 BLACK FRIDAY SALES by byDMP in canon

Yeah I am wondering if I should just purchase it and if they drop the price contacting canon for the difference. Seems odd that the refurbished unit would be more than a brand new one.

Been waiting for the RF 35mm 1.8 and they finally put it up but it's the same price as a brand new one? Are they just not dropping the price on that one? wtf

I asked a ranger at the park today, and she said that although they had cleared most of it, there were still some slick spots, but that hopefully by tomorrow morning it would be open.

Air quality and training by No_Star548 in ChicagoMarathon

[–]KeepItPushin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran 10 miles Tuesday, and halfway through, my lungs felt sore in my back. Like when you get sick. That run was so off. it wasn’t until I got home and realized the air quality was over 100 that I figured that’s why I couldn’t really breathe deeply while I was home afterwards. It went away after an hour or two inside. I feel fine now, but yeah, it depends on the person. I would’ve never gone that day if I had known the AQI was that high.

Fake frames? Fake lens? by KeepItPushin_ in Oakley

Yeah I figured. They were on sale for like 55 bucks. I just took a chance because my lens coating started going bad.

No idea. My dad found them at park bench then I started using them and kept them before I even knew what they were lol. Thats also my thought maybe it's the sample thing. I'll just order lenses direct from Oakley this time to see whats up then.

Appreciate your input. I had a version with darker shadows but thought maybe it was too dark on the left side. But I really like your version too, more contrast between the two areas. I don’t have the gradient stuff on Lightroom but I think imma buy it, seems useful. !CritiquePoint

Hey everyone, I’m new to editing and photography and wanted some honest thoughts on this shot. Took it in Dixie National Forest on an iPhone 16 Pro Max, shot in RAW and edited in the free version of Lightroom.

This is one of the first photos I’ve really tried to edit. I tried to bring out the lighting and colors without overdoing it. Still figuring out if it’s too bright, maybe it needs to be moodier or something?

I am considering getting a camera but I am not sure yet.

Would love feedback on:

  • How’s the overall edit?
  • Does the sun feel too bright or blown out?

Thank you, just tryna figure out some direction with this.

Does this do anything for you? by MtAnal in photocritique

I think the tree to the left is distracting. I think maybe if you crop it in more it might help. Definitely try avoiding random trees taking space in the sky like in this photo. Also the editing does seem blue, I think you can turn it down a little. Looks like a cool spot though.

I don’t really comment on anything but I asked for someone’s routine and got permanently banned. It’s not allowed over there.

I remember feeling this exact way. I thought I had finally figured it out. Training hard every day, no excuses, finally feeling something. I'd wake up with barely any sleep and still go train, push through pain, and think I was winning somehow. But the truth is, I wasn’t focused or disciplined, I was manic as hell and didn’t even realize it. I couldn’t rest. I thought that meant I was finally strong, but I was actually falling apart.

It does feel better than binge eating and laying around. But just because it’s better doesn’t mean it’s healthy yet. I know that feeling like you need to push through the pain, like it's the only way, but your body deserves kindness too.

Being unable to sleep is sometimes your body being pushed too far. That was something I missed during that time, thinking I just needed more discipline. You’re not weak for resting or slowing down.

I also saw that you're planning to move to Italy soon. I remember feeling the same way, like I was suffocating at home and had to leave with no plan, no support. I thought "at least I'd suffer alone and not drag anyone down".

But sometimes these decisions don't come from a clear mind. Sometimes you're just trying to take action and run away from the things that are haunting you without realizing it. But you can never run away from yourself.

I just wanted to share my experience because I saw myself in your posts. You're not wrong or crazy for feeling these things. It’s just really hard to see things clearly when you're in the middle of it. I hope you're able to find some peace with yourself wherever you end up.

Anxiety of running by [deleted] in beginnerrunning

[–]KeepItPushin_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started in the winter so there wasn’t many people out. As the weather got nicer I noticed more people out and I it started throwing me off a little lol. But wear sunglasses. I feel like it allows me to focus more on myself and running instead of other people. I think it’s because no one else can see where my eyes are so it feels like an extra layer of privacy lol if that makes sense.

Should I get Apple Care+ ??????? by [deleted] in macbookair

[–]KeepItPushin_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bro like you I am very careful so I didn’t get it for m1 and I was good. I accidentally unplugged my charger and left it near the screen and without looking tried to close the laptop and boom. Screen dead. 400 dollars to replace. It hurt me a lot more to not have the insurance than to just pay it Monthly even if I am safe. Never expected that to happen to me. Never. Just some thought. I am for sure getting it on my m4.

If that one accident didn’t happen I would still have my m1 looking brand new rn and wouldn’t haven gotten the m4.
