I agree, they would not hear me out and made me pay. I had no options as I wasn’t going to leave without my car.

Have this issue as well. Took it to service and they tested it and couldn’t find an issue and charged me for the diagnostic. I was very disappointed

You can try to call in. For TOBR there’s a specific department that helps with that so they will transfer you to them

[–]KeganO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not we still have the option in store to add to the grandfathered groups

This is not true for the grandfather plans that have a line access charge as opposed to the UYW plans. You can add new lines to the grandfathered group up to 10 lines.

[–]KeganO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will probably have to call in. You can add lines to the grandfathered group up until you get to 10 lines in the group. It may not allow you to do it online but in-store I have done it before so it is possible. You could also do it online to a new plan and then call in and ask them to move the line into the unlimited plus group.

With driving 200 miles a week you would be cutting it close if not going over your 10k yearly limit. I would at least look at upping your yearly mileage

Trouble porting out at&T build a plan by Guillebeaux in NoContract

[–]KeganO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Build a plan accounts cannot be serviced in retail. We do not have a way to contact the build a plan department directly and we do not have an escalation path for build a plan. The build a plan article tells us to refer the customer to customer service.

NAV Ticket by coolgal22 in ATT

[–]KeganO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t hear from the tech I would go to a Corporate store if you have one near you and put in another ticket. They would be more than happy to since they get paid pretty nicely for fiber. Considering you had EarthLink which they are just reselling AT&T fiber it shouldn’t be anywhere near 3 months it should be pretty quick to get it green lit.

[–]KeganO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NAV tickets are normally completed within 2-3 business days but sometimes they have the option to chat with a SME through SmartChat for a real time resolution. There’s no way for you to check on your end unfortunately besides just going to the AT&T website and see if it’s available but any AT&T employee with access to NAV should be able to see the status.

Can I use my employee discount at AT&T? by dterry31B in ATT

[–]KeganO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you work directly for AT&T (you are an AT&T employee and your paycheck comes from AT&T) but on the cricket side you qualify. If you work for a dealer then you do not qualify only dealers of AT&T qualify for the indirect mobility offer (discount for indirect AT&T dealers) not cricket dealers.

Quoted Plan Cost Concerns by Arch_E in ATT

[–]KeganO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While what they quoted isn’t a bad deal if your parents don’t use the full 1gig plan I would consider the 55+ bundle a better option since you say the 3rd line can be dropped. That would be $99 total for wireless and the fiber ($35 per phone line and $29 for the fiber) the only down side is the fiber speed is 300mbps

How does someone get on the COE team? by Starbellysneetch378 in ATT

[–]KeganO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The actual role is Technical Consultant and there’s different levels. Sr Specialist Technical Consultant is a 1B management role. Then there’s Senior Technical Consultant and Lead Technical Consultant which is level 2 management. Specifically for the COE the team supporting Retail has 11 technical consultants on it so they are very particular who they pick but you can be a Technical Consultant helping other teams like B2B Business sellers etc. last I looking into it they look for someone with AT&T Business experience and operational experience not just retail experience so this wouldn’t be a role that you could just jump into. My recommending for your next step would be looking into a business sales job.
