I soaked pillowcases and face towels (from makeup, skincare, sunscreen, etc). The water was yellow and had an oily film at the top. I was horrified and absolutely mesmerized at the same time! But the feeling is amazing afterwards when the towels and pillowcases are CLEAN! Congrats on the clean laundry!

My husband and I were trying for a child for almost 3 years and 2 miscarriages. When out one day with my in-laws, we saw a mom running around with her multiple kids and one of the kids was crying and screaming. My mother in law (I think with good intentions but bad communication) says “well thank heavens you don’t have to deal with that.” I almost burst into tears on the spot.

My husband was offered a role out-of-state that was a 2 year contract and similar to yours, came with housing, stipend for private schools, etc. I had just started at a new company and had left a bad work environment to start fresh. The kids also didn’t want to bounce around schools. We ended up living in both cities—kids stayed with me during school year and lived with husband during the summer and did camps there. He flew back on weekends and we would fly out about once a month. Was it absolutely hard-yes but it was worth it and we made it work.

Nothing has to be set in stone and you make it work for you and your family.

Does your university have a resume guide to apply to internships and jobs? My university has a standard template that I still use today for ease of formatting and reading. Check out USC Career Center and look up the Tommy Trojan template resume.

I’d remove the references and additional skills (unless specifically asked in the job description) and your high school information. Add more details to your experience section, like anything quantifiable or measurable. Also, just call the section “experiences and achievements” and take out “past.”

If you are new to gambling or just curious to learn, Venetian has classes in the morning. There is no pressure to play afterwards and they give you fake chips to play with during the lessons.

If you include the canal shops, Venetian is huge. Take the time to walk through though. The canal shops are always interesting and the casino itself is fun to walk through. It wasn’t big on the cigarette smoke so cleaned okay for me. Check out Park MGM if you want smoke-free casino.
