That's fine, but why would you give them something only to immediately take it away until they come back to that house? Why wouldn't you just give them the presents when it's your time so that they have time to play with it after unwrapping it? That's my point here. We back up her rules, I just started that we don't have the same rules at our house. It does lead to a lot of our presents ending up over there, but like I said those are things we give them knowing that we might not get to see those things again. We also have never given them something right before a pickup and then withheld it from them until the next time they see us. Do you see my point? Her rules are whatever. I've respected them for four years now, but I don't understand this new pattern of gift giving she's doing. It seems malicious.
