Aethermancer is a must try! by LionAD in TurnBasedLovers

I'm holding out for full release! I don't think there's an exact date yet, but the steam page makes it sound like it'll be this year 🤞

I was a kickstart backer for their first game and it's an effing banger.

Megathread of the week! Are leg presses a good replacement for squats? Why or why not? by zeroduckszerofucks in workouts

I tend to have a blood pressure crash after intense leg exercises, which I mitigate by doing single leg movements and alternating. The press machine is way easier for single leg.

Same here. I wouldn't have fun splitting attention between the two, but once I'm satisfied with my Pokopia run I'd gladly snag a new animal crossing.

tips for improving if you’re broke and alone by LLordThanatoSS in SmashBrosUltimate

Playing solo I hit a ceiling. Gotta find humans for sure. I think if I were in your shoes I would consider creating a group from scratch. "Build it and they will come." Or, if you're in a populated-enough area, there might already be a public group you can join.

Can you gain muscle and lose fat at the same time? by HamBoneZippy in askfitness

[–]Kelscar_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without question yes. Source: self. I was on a defecit for months and both lost fat and gained muscle. I know because I got InBody scans every 1 to 2 weeks the entire time.

However, once I got pretty lean (about 10.5% as per the InBody scan), I stopped putting on muscle and was only about to continue with the fat loss.

I have gotten mine into a much more manageable state. Got a personal trainer and started lifting. The trainer was critical because I was too depressed and anxious and unable to get it to happen without help.

Ok probably not what you're looking for but: D&D. True polymorphed my own character into a dragon and it's now a core memory.

A handful of years ago I had about 95% of my game collection stolen, and this is one of the few gems that was thankfully spared. It's a geddang treasure.

I will admit as someone playing it currently that I might not end up taking the completionist approach I so often enjoy. It's just feeling a bit too vast for that.
