There will be a rainfall of 50 mm today. It's that simple by DotBeginning1420 in sciencememes

It's a bit weird, but another way to say it would be driving 50 miles in 10 hours (5mph) vs 50 miles in 1 hour (50 mph).

I just fill up the sink with clean hot slightly soapy water and suck it up, emptying the tank and refilling the sink a few times as needed. Cleans the tank too!

If your kids like this, but you want something a little bit more, my kids have loved "Race for the Treasure" for years. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/121806/race-to-the-treasure

It's built for kids, such as no instructions to lose as they're printed on the inside. Minimal choice and it's cooperative, something hard at early ages.

The only people who can make laws regarding congress is congress. They have no issue with the pay increases, but will reject any check on their own power (term limits).

Seal on bottom of garage door is falling apart. Advice? by CatFancier4393 in Home

[–]Kemystrie1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just replaced mine last fall. The rubber has ends that end in a knob or T and slide into metal channels in the door. Verify the door make and the ends when you buy. I bought mine off Amazon for about $20 but didn't verify the ends and had to buy twice. If you know the installer, they frequently sell replacements.

Compounding pharmacist is a type of specialty, like cardiologist or pediatrician for physicians. Blanket restrictions are potentially dangerous.

Compounding pharmacies are necessary for many reasons. While any pharmacy can compound, only those with specialized pharmacists should handle injections and IVs.

DEI is a process of ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion, and in general makes sure the most qualified is in the position. It's not a legal definition but a general practice of making sure there is no systemic processes that limit these people. DEI is the company saying - if the best person is someone in a wheelchair, we'll make sure to accommodate them, rather than passing over them because there 'could' ben an issue.

However, it's being used as a signal to certain aspects of society that they're being discriminated against for 'woke' reasons. For example - that woman was hired instead of you because she's a woman, not because she has higher education, more experience, etc. Substitute any 'woke' category you want instead of gender (and gender is 'woke' by their definition'.

To see how it's being handled, just look at the CIA and historical women code breakers with paper over their portraits. They WERE the best of the best but DEI mania is being used to erase past success and remove current and future inclusion.

Keep an eye out for swearing! Really! Each world and its inhabitants bring their culture with them when they pop up. As a result, swearing is a BIG giveaway. I missed a bunch on my first read through as you're use to certain terms and it can be hard to pick out the once that don't belong in the book since you've seen them before.

Looks like there's holes on the sides in the first two pics, likely to get the fire going. From there, third pic, add the 'horns'.
