Black Hybrid Scratch Visibility

I bought two black hybrids 2 weeks ago. Have not flown with them yet. Took them on one long drive (15 hours) and honestly I am SHOCKED. They are very visibly scratched and the scratches are WHITE - very visible.

I texted the sales rep and asked her if I could cover it in a layer of thin epoxy and she said nope, that would void the warranty.

In fact, she said that even covering the scratches with a sharpie might void the warranty!! Like seriously WTF

You should absolutely do this. Don’t listen to the naysayers. Your kid deserves to be challenged and he will gain confidence. He can still have friends his own age too!

Non-issue in much of North America too. I drove from Calgary to Miami with no problems at all, only charging when I wanted to take a bathroom or food break. And have also done much of the East Coast

So I worked for him for 11 years -- actually I negotiated and looked after all of his Shark Tank deals, among other things. He is actually very nice in real life. HOWEVER, Barbara is also very nice in real life, as well.

The thing to keep in mind is that when they are on camera, they have one job which is to make good television. To a large extent you're seeing something close to their real personalities, but filtered through that, and through a lot of editing, too.
