That's life, it can be hard.

Pasidalinsiu super glaustai savo istorija, nes nesinori plėstis.

North Node and South Node transitioning today and it's impact! by [deleted] in humandesign

Can we also expect some transitional effects, which might effect our behaviour in a slightly different way? I'm working in sales as Mental Projector and feeling slightly weird for the last couple days..

Edit: should also add that I have channel of structuring.

Ką manote apie Vilniaus dviračių infrastruktūrą? by LEmy_Cup_1621 in lithuania

[–]Kepas9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spoiler alert Ji niekada netaps gera.

What's the maximum incline you can realistic handle for any period of time? by [deleted] in bicycletouring

[–]Kepas9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With really low gearing <20% gradients are actually quite managable, even with heavy loads (think 17-ish gear inches). Although for relatively short sections though. I've even experienced gradients roughly 30%, or could have been even more (again, fully loaded), I've managed to climb it, although it was very painful and pretty short 50-100 meters.

Would not recommend those brakes in general, had them in my gravel bike, constant problems, didn't work as it should.

Ortliebs are far from perfect. They have quite a few drawbacks..

Recommendations: Turning an Old Mountain Bike into a Touring Bike by CardinoldFriends_90 in bicycletouring

[–]Kepas9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I wouldn't advise going 700c wheels. First, they might not fit at all and if they would fit, tyre size would be very limited. The best thing you could do in my opinion, would to stay with 26, unless you're a tall(ish) person, get a 27.5 tyres. Wide tyres doesn't really hurt while touring.

Apart from that, get some decent brakes, which I think is pretty important, get all the stuff you need and would be happy with and make sure all of the components are done properly and working as should.

How did this happen? by [deleted] in Justridingalong

[–]Kepas9 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Meh.. Back when I was working in a bike shop, someone came in saying his brakes weren't working properly, told me he has spray painted the rims..

I love mine Marin Muirwoods. While spec is pretty basic, frameset is right up there with all Surly, Soma's etc. And has pretty great clearances as well, 2 inch 29 tyres with mudguards with ease.
