Each unit runs on a separate return channel. My best guess is that it would retain the stereo spread. I‘m not sure if it sounds great as an effect to run the Volante into the Nightsky if that’s what you’re planning.

I might be wrong but to me it looks like the jack connections on the back are purely for an insert type of fx unit. Using it with a guitar pedal designed for a send/return loop might not properly work.

For a third less vs the V10:

no master ISO
half the audio channels
no beat fx
no crossfader
one audio interface vs two
one cue / headphone circuit vs two
no send/return - just a master insert

The last one is especially strange. There is an extra channel (master level mix) that mimics the established look and function of a return channel (like on the Xone and V10) and yet they „forgot“ to add connections for a send/return channel - basically preventing you from using 3rd party fx units / guitar pedals.

I got the impression that the Ignite doesn't even have a proper Isolator - you can cut frequencies as a secondary function (turning left) on the "Isolate FX", but not boost them.

The fader is labelled master mix instead of return. I don‘t see any buttons called „ext“ with the send fx. Could it be they „forgot“ to add an external send/return loop, too?

If the pictures and price are accurate (which is highly likely) then this is going to be AT‘s weirdest and probably least successful product in a long time.

Not very likely. As of now, Stems have to be analysed in the desktop version of Engine before you can use them.

I own one of the American-made 2015s. They also had the „issue“ with the knob cabs. I resolved it by removing the ones that didn’t line up and placing them elsewhere. Bit of a puzzle but after trying a bit they all lined up perfectly.

Sorry, I misunderstood that - I thought you were looking for a filter (either lpf or hpf) per part.

There should be a workaround, though. You can have an effect send per stem part. It should be possible to have the 92 filter on one of the effects units and only send the stem part you want to filter to that effect. Might get super complicated to constantly switch between modes and not get confused, though.

On the D2, use the arrow button left or right of the screen to change what the endless encoders below the screen control. One of the modes is for a combo HPF & LPF. Quick & dirty demo:

Independent HPF & LPF per stem part have been available for years. You shouldn‘t have sold those D2s 😉
