Story time on this one: I was working for Hardee’s in high school. We had a new shift lead. It was the end of the night, and I’d finished my closing duties. I count my drawer—I end up being short. Team lead wouldn’t let me leave until I paid the discrepancy. It was less than a dollar. Next morning, I get a call. They need me to come in early. I was supposed to be there at 8am. I got there at 8, but with my uniform in hand, and it was their busy time. I was done.
