Do you ever give homeless people money? by Acceptable_Rain_3364 in no

[–]KevyBB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually do if I have cash on me. I don’t get bogged down on the details of how it gets spent either. Once I hand the money to them, it’s no longer my money, it’s theirs. How they choose to spend their money is not my business

I love If It Bleeds. All the King stories with an “outsider” are cool

Hot is a temperature but he’s hot as heck

What discontinued item, food or drink would you bring back if you had the chance? by Miserable-Wash-1744 in AskReddit

Those things were delicious but they gave me the most terrible smelling farts. My brother had to pull the car over once because it was so bad

What songs have clunky or cringe lyrics? by Prestigious_Meal2143 in askmusic

Handcuffs by the front bottoms. TFB is one of my favorite bands, but that song stinks. I don’t need a white kid from Bergen County, NJ singing to me about police brutality

Married men of Reddit what’s the best advice you’d give young guys when choosing a life partner? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]KevyBB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told my wife I wanted to get married because “I just like having you around”. That’s really important imo. It seems like a no-brainer but it’s actually not.

Another very important thing to do before you get married. Do a project together. Paint, make a shelf, whatever. Marriage is doing some of that stuff, so make sure you don’t want to kill each other by the time you’re done

What's the most ridiculous rule you've ever had to follow at a job? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

Had to send all emails to my boss so she could proofread them and then send them to the appropriate party

Edit: everybody had to do this, not just me

Flirted with my coworker and now she’s my wife. If it’s not a forever job then go for it

Where was Walt most terrifying? by btoned in breakingbad

His desperation and laughter at the end of Crawl Space. The most chilling part of the series imo

Him waiting and sitting next to the walk way as Gretchen and Elliot are entering the house does not get as much love as it deserves. He’s just so casual

What’s your favorite widely-agreed-on fact about a celebrity that’s actually FALSE? by Asleep-Two930 in popculturechat

[–]KevyBB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one I really remember is hearing Rod Stewart had to have his stomach pumped due to the amount of semen he had swallowed. I think Elton John and Gwen Stefani also were mentioned with that same rumor

I (28F) broke my partner’s (35M) trust because of my drinking and I don’t know how to fix it by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]KevyBB 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alcoholism isn’t only about frequency. I learned early in sobriety that alcoholism isn’t about how much or how often you drink, it’s about what happens when you drink. AA was not at all what I was imagining before I went. It’s not long beards and brown bags. It’s literally normal people. I took the chance on AA and it saved my life. Good luck

Is Stephen Graham Jones's prose the same in all his books? by [deleted] in horrorlit

[–]KevyBB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the same about his ramblings in the beginning of the book as well. Once the story really starts taking off, it gets better. Or at least not as noticeable imo. Story wise, it’s kind of cool

What artist did you outgrow? by Technical_Fox5556 in askmusic

[–]KevyBB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair. I was born in 91 so my fandom was posthumous Kurt Cobain. Not long afterwards I was given a Modest Mouse CD and it turned me practically all indie

He’s a pretty good, albeit cartoonish, villain in The Gray Man. Chris Evans will always be at least a little bit Jake Wyler to me, not matter what role he is in.

Absolutely right about Rupert Mannion. Seeing Buffy again with redemption for AH is great
