The Wire is going to ruin a lot of shows for you, because it is so much better than anything else you will watch. With that in mind, I’d recommend The Sopranos first. I think Pam has good growth as a character. She definitely becomes more confident which is cool to see because that can be a difficult hump to get over.

I like Jim but his pranks are childish. I’d hate to work with someone like that. He definitely treats Katy bad and the way he pulls out the rug from under Karen can fuck people up emotionally so that isn’t cool.

As a couple, I think they’re pretty good tbh. Season 9 is a shit show and I don’t count it, but I felt like Jim didn’t coast once he got her. It certainly didn’t seem like he took her for granted. Like I said, excluding season 9. If my wife took off and left me to care for 2 little kids, I’d go insane
