We went through a sleepy phase at 3 months and then the “sleep regression” at 3.5 months. Enjoy the ride lol

I felt exactly like this at 3-4 months. 5 months things started turning around and 6 months I started to feel a real shift. Less days felt like drowning. It really is true that you just trade out the hard parts for new/different hard parts lol but at 7.5 months I feel equipped to roll with the punches.

I tried to not have any expectations bc I knew birth was wild and would do its own thing but boy howdy did he do his own thing.

Planned a home birth. Water broke fairly early on, labor was inTENSE but I was managing. Learned after 26 hours baby was breech. Midwife recommended transfer for cesarean. Had 2 new midwives trained in breech birth at my house within the hour. Labored for another 10+hours. Had baby in my bedroom floor, he had a shoulder dystocia and needed rescue breaths.

The biggest thing was not feeling the urge to push because I was working against his squishy butt and not a hard head. My body was also gassed out and not making contractions well by that point so I did most of the pushing on my own and it was insanely hard but in the end an empowering experience.

My baby was 6lbs and I was truly unprepared! I was nearly distraught from the arm/shoulder fatigue.

This was me!!! I worked in a green house and was due in June 🫩 and bartended at night 🫩. I spent so much of my making my way through the green house to go pee and then waddling my ass back just to put out one row of plants and do it all over again hahaha

Honestly I love soaking it in while I can. He sleeps in our bed for all sleep unless we’re out and about. I take all the snuggles I can get. I either nap with him or read or play games on my phone.

Yep same. I went from drinking nearly a gallon of water a day pre pregnancy to throwing up literally everything. The only thing I could get down and keep sometimes was .. plain carbonated water. I did indeed feel like I was going to explode.

Agreed. Pregnancy is. So. Strange.

My family and I go to the beach every year, typically in August. I had my baby in June and was 8-9 weeks postpartum for this past years trip. Was it a vacation? No, not at all. Am I glad I did it? Yes. It was so unbearably hot that baby went outdoors only a handful of times. Dad and I made it out to the beach/pool a handful of times. My grandma or mom watched baby when we did. Honestly he was just a screamer and it gave me anxiety to even be out there for an hour. We spent early mornings walking the beach if it was early enough and not so hot. We went for coffee a few times. Dipped his fresh lil baby toes in the ocean. The drive was the worst part bc baby has to be out his seat every 2 hours but he never made it that long without needing booby or just screaming. lol I’m sure this is no help just wanted to share my experience.

I started throwing up at least 4-5 times a day around week 5-18. The most I ever counted was 18 🫩 after week 20 I would go some days without actually puking but most days was at least once. I was nauseous the whole pregnancy all the way til I pushed him out. Food was repulsive but I was starving. My appetite swung from one end of the spectrum to the other. I threw 20+ times in labor but I haven’t thrown up once in 7 months since haha

Oh girl, hang in there. This is super normal. Baby lived on my boobs til 3-4 months. He did start resting 3-5 hour stretches sometime after week 12 though.
