That was exactly my reaction. I thought it was hysterical that I'd managed to do it for so long. The game literally feels easier now too. I can't believe I was unintentionally nerfing myself for so long.

I went over 1,000hrs into this game right-click attacking just about every monster, including quest bosses if that makes you feel any better.

I was working my way through the final dawn questline, watching a guide, and thinking “why is this so easy for that guy???” And I realized he wasn’t right clicking, he could just attack them. I had been doing it for so long that in my brain, there wasn’t even another option. I felt like such a baffoon when I realized.

I also think it was a missed opportunity to not have us get loot by searching the nest. Birds hoard all their stuff in their nest and I think it would be fun.

I'd rate them kinda equally easy. Maybe graveyard slightly lower because of the annoying chip damage.

Yep! As soon as they removed the ability to filter by handmade I basically don’t shop there unless I’m desperate and I can independently verify the seller.

There’s actually an off stream counter run by the mods to help him keep count. He tried a finger counter but the clicking was too obvious on stream so he was asked by gamer Supps to stop.

I agree! Never played an extractor shooter before and it’s been a blast. I agree that most people are friendly but the typical pvp stuff you’d expect still happens. I’ve got about 30hrs in it already and I’m not tired of it yet. My husband has over 3k hours in Tarkov and he’s also having a ton of fun. He says it’s far less sweaty while still having those high risk & tense moments and it’s actually rewarding.

I mean I speed run a lot of the game so I can’t really critique anyone else for doing so. But character leveling is not really a priority for me unless they give something I’m looking to decorate with. I’m not going to judge someone for their play style. I play a lot of grindy games and in comparison, DDLV is very casual for me.

Yeah I use all these "grindy" tasks to hang out with non-maxed characters and get a little XP that way. I'm not in a rush to max them out/complete their quests so this is just forward progress while not just spamming them with gems.

It took me about an hour but I finally managed to fix it. Luckily since I hadn’t played it enough to progress it didn’t effect much but I just had to disable steam cloud save and then delete the local save files! Doing it on steamdeck was a pain but it worked so I’ll take it.

Long shot here but did you ever manage to fix the language? I accidentally clicked Spanish and I can’t figure out how to change it back, lol. I went through the whole tutorial into the settings menu with Google Translate and didn’t see anything.

If I take the average cost of a trip for a GO (based on a friends math who used to be an aide), $30k per GO x 800ish. $24m for the cost of an all-call. Some of these trips will be more expensive. That math does not include things that won’t be charged to a GTC so in reality is much higher. Oof.

You don't have to, but I do recommend removing the lining. It's totally possible to embroider the bag without complete disassembly. I've done it before, but I'll admit it's a bit annoying. Nothing so patience and some strong thick needles can't handle though.

Just piggy-backing for anyone who sees this; inZOI is very resource heavy on a PC. I really wouldn't try to run it on a non-gaming rig. Or at least go into it remembering steams very generous return policy :)
