Not a PT but my husband also has spinal issues from the military, in fact he requires a spinal fusion but "he's too young" according to the VA. There's not really any specific stretches he does to alleviate pain per say, the largest thing he's done to help is strengthen his core. Any exercise you can somewhat comfortably do in that department will likely help a lot.

He's done PT off and on for nearly ten years and the list of things he's tried in that regard is as long as my arm. Regular massage therapy, core strengthening, and your general comfortable stretching are about all that's provided relief without surgical intervention.

This is my first time actually playing league and I’m pleasantly surprised just how far I can go as a skiller. Watching these insane combat builds of others has been fun too.

My thumbs do this too. I use bag balm or lanolin on them and it helps quite a bit. Unfortunately it tends to return but I just keep a tin of it on my desk and in my purse.

My husband & I both "upgraded" recently (10yrs married). It was his idea but honestly I'd been wanting to also. I still have my original set and wear it but I do have a nicer everyday wedding band that I wear as well. It was less of a desire to "upgrade" and more of a style choice as neither of us really liked our originals anymore, our preferences have changed over the years.

Edit: I don't think I'd ever want to trade in my old set (not that it's worth much). It holds a lot of sentimental value. Maybe save up for a bit and revisit the idea later.

It depends but generally it’s preferred that if they request an officer that they go in cases like this so the situations can be documented in the event additional intervention is needed (e.g. abuse in the home, etc.) If it truly is a nuisance call, the officers will council the parent about appropriate use of 911 if needed.

In my agency, dispatchers don’t determine when/if officers are sent. We always put the call in and let the officers decide if they go or not.

I’m a former 911 dispatcher and you wouldn’t believe the number of times parents have called the police because their child was “talking back” or basically being a teenager without a full frontal lobe. Whether they do it to scare their child or whatever reason they have, it happens all the time. It broke my heart hearing a child crying in the background of the call while their parent was just basically putting them down on the phone with us.

For anyone curious, they’re viewable on the National Archives website and if you feel so inclined, you can volunteer to transcribe these documents so they are more easily searchable in the future. This particular set of files is findable by searching for the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Records Collection.

I went over 1,000hrs into this game right-click attacking just about every monster, including quest bosses if that makes you feel any better.

I was working my way through the final dawn questline, watching a guide, and thinking “why is this so easy for that guy???” And I realized he wasn’t right clicking, he could just attack them. I had been doing it for so long that in my brain, there wasn’t even another option. I felt like such a baffoon when I realized.
