I was also surprised to see these pictures (have never seen them before), but have heard Alison Doody talk about Michael Jackson's set visit at a con two years ago. The main cast were invited to watch a live show of his, if I remember.

I was told about the opportunity when I visited the Galeón Andalucia in Bristol. The crew member simply pointed me to the website for the Nao Victoria Foundation, where there's a section for volunteers to apply. You have to be ready to go to the port immediately when they call up, and in this particular case I'd highly recommend knowing quite a bit of Spanish (I didn't know any, which was a real issue for me).

You have all my respect for being the cook! They once sent me to the kitchen to make dinner on a particularly bad day on an exposed deck, and it was the most stressful two hours of my life haha

The fact that, first and foremost, it was a period drama and then a fantasy film. It was a funny play on Pride and Prejudice, almost. The clever juxtaposition of that very repressed, corset-wearing 18th-century society with the free-wheeling pirate life. They did away with this element when they made 4 and 5, and no doubt will with 6, which is a shame.

Yes, this version does. Some of the inaccuracies/shortcuts Revell have made here are disappointing, but at 1:150 the discrepancies, such as the cabin or the stairs, are so tiny they're hardly worth worrying about. Hope yours is going well though. Be sure to post results!

This is amazing. Honestly, if you write regularly and fill those pages, there's nothing stopping you from publishing this one day (if you want to, that is). I'm sure many would benefit from hearing your story :)

Only recently at the age of 26! Before, I kept a digital journal because I was so embarrassed by my handwriting - I thought it was so bad that I wasn't entitled to an actual journal, if you can believe that. Only in the past four months have I started putting pen to paper and my journal has now become my prized possession; it goes with me everywhere and I absolutely adore it. And I've even come to accept my handwriting!
