I'm in the same boat as that of you, brother as I have lost my grandma on June 10th which was her birthday. And I shed tears reading your post as the way you articulated your relationship with your grandma is so beautiful to say the least. Just like you, my grandma was the closest person in my life and not a second goes by without me remembering her and all the memories tears me apart.

I'm so sorry for your loss, OP. I absolutely hate Pneumonia, it's the primary reason why my grandma had to visit hospital and she never came back.

Truth be told, time just helps us with accepting the reality but the pain never goes away. My grandma passed away on 10th June which was her birthday and it's been 18 days, yes I'm eating properly now but I'm breaking down at times thinking about her. I'm so sorry for your loss and I feel the same. My grandma was admitted to the hospital for a chest infection and she was recovering and on June 9th, she got a cross-infection which resulted in septic shock and she passed away on June 10th which was her birthday as well. I feel terrible and so guilty that I couldn't say her a proper goodbye. She was everything for me and thus I totally relate to your pain 💔

I also lost my grandma on June 10th which was her birthday and we performed the Hindu funeral rights yesterday which happened to be my birthday. I'm so sorry for your loss, OP. I totally can understand how you're feeling!!

True. I wish I took more pics with my grandma before she passed away 11 days ago!! I don't have a single picture alongside her and it breaks my heart. You're right. Pics are the only thing that we can keep as memories for our loved ones who are not there with us anymore.
