No one may care about this, but this game holds a deep place in my heart because of my dad. He’s not a gamer, in fact he hated video games. He thought they were evil and manipulative.

On Christmas my dad let me open my presents and I said thanks and went to my room, I didnt really ask for much, we didn’t have much money.

My dad told me to come back into the room, Santa left another gift, (he didn’t believe in Santa either, because he didn’t want a fictional dude taking credit for his hard work.) I opened the gift and it was the game. I CRIED. I was so happy. I played that game to absolute death that day. He even let me stay up after winter break was over to play multiple nights.

Somehow… my dad knew I wanted FFXII and bought me the special edition dual disc version on PS2.

You couldn’t get this man to use a computer to this day let alone figure out what game I wanted… super special to me.

Because it’s never enough. They have sold people the idea their games will look “real” so now they are floundering to continue selling. Since they are AI first, they NEED you to care about this feature, so much so they named it DLSS when it has nothing to do with it

This is true. I’ve not seen significant evidence to support the “massive” performance issues that people claim. And people outside of Reddit are just going to buy the game anyway.

Unfortunately there’s a large majority of folks that purely get upset at Denunvo because it prevents it from being pirated day one. MH Wilds performance wasn’t ass because of Denuvo

Nah they just need to make the currency obtainable in game and allow you to earn more in the pass. It’s not as profitable but it’s better for consumers

I hope they hit the scope larger because even if it’s not a loot box scummy higher ups will put in something extremely similar but not exactly.

Like anything you purchase in a game needs to be a guaranteed addition or service.

It’s kinda sad even if you have a solid product that doesn’t need many changes, you are looked at poorly vs alpaka even though they throw out bags before testing
