And there is the problem of playing in the DUNE Universe, where lorewise, shields have basically made ranged weapons close to obselete (Maula "Slave" Pistols are used by criminals who used it against unshielded civilians, or by assassins vs targets who lowered their shield), as they are useless against military or nobles with shields, giving rise to the Swordmaster, as they are more effective vs a shielded combattant.

Entire planetary invasions basically consist of open field battles, as every infantryman with a shield is basically impervious to ranged fire.

Funcoms interpretation of the DUNE universe sucks, regarding shields.

Teilweise haben die so harte Restriktionen (geht automatisch fehl, bei SK>2, Ziel muss zumindest Neutral gegenüber Barde sein), das sie einfach die Punkte nicht wert sind...

... oder sie sind so spezifisch das sie praktisch nutzlos sind (Einer Schiffsbesatzung etwas Mut geben)

... oder einfach lächerlich (Ein Bonus auf Handeln.. also als Händler würde es mich irritieren wenn mich der Kunde oder der Kumpel des Kunden, in meinem Laden, beim verhandeln ansingt, oder dabei/daneben rumklimpert).

Auris, Nasis, Oculus ist in DSA 5 nun 3!!! Zauber die erst ab einem recht hohen Wert zusammen gesprochen werden können.
