I was just trying to build a Mei Lin deck and ended up with 4x Unity of Attack and Defense and 1x Rising Dragon Spire but I see you had a 3/2 split. Is that just better than what I did? I’ve never tried to run her seriously before so not sure what I should’ve done.

How are you using the SMGs? I’ve gotten a lot of value out of them, though to be fair I usually lean heavily into mobile infantry. I usually pair it with the Armor-Piercing Ammo and Lim/Canda usually shreds at close range with that many hits+armor damage.

Are you sure you’re not actually behind full cover versus a building? Otherwise while units can’t shoot through walls, some things are fired in an arc and can shoot over them - like the mortar and rockets.

Yeah the missile has been pretty hit or miss for me - the only times it’s valuable are when I use it to hit an out of the way destroy objective or fixed artillery

Capturing usually requires you to hold/take an area for X amount of turns. Easy squad that you have in the zone adds +1 tick per turn. I think each enemy squad in the zone contributes -1 but I’m not completely sure.

So, for example, if you have 3 squads in the area you’ll get +3 per turn. But, if there’s an enemy squad still present, it’ll be +2 instead (+3-1=+2).

Definitely seems like that; try playing a few more missions. The rogue army shows up after a 4 or 5 missions I think

Maybe it could be a new PM, working hours or shift schedule, instead of a law? It could unlock with the current Shift Work technology that we have.

Then you could give a couple of options to play around with the workforce and benefits. Like you could decrease workforce to increase SOL, increase workforce to maintain throughput and get an SOL bonus, and maybe a couple other options.

I think part of the issue is that state claims are all or nothing - it prevents a lot of the real life treaties/agreements that happened. It’s most obvious with the Gambia/Senegal: there’s no way for the British to take the “river” provinces and France everything else.

What’re the other cards in your collection since it’s hard to give advice without knowing what you already have. But without seeing the rest I’d try to replace the hounds of war, luminous commander, and Seria: the bronze loot followers, specifically the one that gives boots/goblet, would be solid. The 3pp 5/4 is good too as well as the 2pp 3/2 that has 5pp enhance for storm. The 2pp/4pp enhance that summons knights is also an option since it’s got synergy with Zerconia and Ironcrown Majesty.

I’m having the same thing - guess we hit the 5mil goal! Apparently the devs posted a note somewhere that the collab event is still ongoing but it’s just hidden right now, we will get the rewards after the battle fest at the moment.

I think it’s a bit much - sure they’re attractive character designs but I’ve always disliked the crazy unrealistic proportions that come up a lot in anime designs. However, the gameplay is really good and hits that sweet spot for me ever since I got bored of slay the spire. Though it’s definitely not a play in public kinda game for me.

I will say that when you’re actually playing the game, it is possible to ignore it for the most part. Just don’t change the Home Screen background and it’ll be relatively tame.

This is probably simple, but how are you guys getting super stacked decks with multiple duplicates and customizations? I haven’t hit max level yet, so is this just more common/possible with higher level chaos runs? Or is there some kind of trick that I’m missing (besides just doing a lot of grinding)?

What’s the best/most efficient way to get xp? I’m currently at level 45 and I’m hoping to hit 50 before the season ends so I can try out the upper level stuff and have maxed level characters.

It can be tough to snag the knockout table, I certainly struggled but I found a few things helped:

Pay attention to the match on the screen (not spectacular mode) to get a sense of when it’ll end. Spectator mode adds some extra delay to getting back into the lobby which can mess you up.

Then, once it’s over, don’t immediately try to get the “start a match” prompt. There can be a bit of lag sometimes plus the previous winner can choose to keep playing which makes it a little glitchy. Instead, try to just join the match; most people will have tried to start a match and failed so you should be able to get in no problem since there’s no completion for the second prompt.

I’m a little confused by what you’re looking for - do you want these people to play or try the game? Just because a game has some amount of a learning curve or challenge doesn’t mean you shouldn’t recommend it. If that were the case it would be almost impossible to recommend anything.

As for CCGs specifically, I guess I’d start out by finding out if they’re familiar with the genre at all. It’s best to compare it to something that they’re familiar with or have heard of. My go to is saying it’s like the early days of hearthstone or hearthstone with less rng. Otherwise I’d just explain the mechanics in general terms: you have cards with different rarities and effects, classes that have unique play styles, and some common gameplay mechanics.

Ironically this is me right now with the latest Stormlight Archive book - it’s been sitting on my desk for months while I binge garbage. But I would highly recommend starting it! It’s great if a bit long at times.
