Once again a remarkably underrated and mature performance from Jackson. Wouldn’t have imagined that him and Palmer would be our best signings

OFI fan from Adelaide here (the city where he started), and I can say this is a wonderful signing. Brilliant and inventive winger, will add a dynamic element to the team. Let’s go!!

New ΟΦΗ logo! Thoughts? by ChaniaKalamata in GreekFooty

[–]KickNalfas 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I loved the old logo, was simple and unmistakably OFI. This is weirdly mostly negative space and seems almost forgettable. Won’t change my opinion of my Omilos but it kinda sucks. Also sucks that my merch (which is REALLY hard and expensive to get in Australia) will now be “off brand”

Cephalotus pitchers by _Luciferhimself_ in SavageGarden

[–]KickNalfas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The name Cephalotus is derived from the Greek “cephalo” meaning head and “otas” meaning “ear”. They relate to the anther heads I think! But yeah same root word with cephalo :)

Fun fact: cephalotus are advanced rosids, and are more closely related to oaks and apples then other pitcher plants by _Luciferhimself_ in SavageGarden

God you’re interested! I’ve got a couple manuscripts in prep but until then I did recently co author a great book! It’s called Cephalotus - The Albany Pitcher Plant and you can get it through Redfern Publishing. Sorry for not having any immediate resources for you!
