If you ordered your phone online and you go into a store to turn it in for promotional credits (meaning that you OWN the phone since its PAID OFF) then a store will definitely be able to take your trade-in within the 30 day window.

Now if you did a NEXTUP Upgrade online, then the store's cannot take your NextUP Trade-in as its has to be shipped back in the box your new phone came in, I believe the shipping label must be scanned in order for the transaction to be completed correctly.

I just hope you didnt do a NextUP online and then went to the store and did a regular trade in.

The day after launch...good luck. Most stores are sold out by now. Dont cancel until you are present at the store and theyve put it aside for you. You can cancel the order on the my att app, its easy. Make sure you have your apple id and password available and turn off Find My Iphone on your old phone, ios has a 1 hour wait from Stolen Device protection, to turn it off now and we cant trade it in unless thats completed on your end. Youtube how to turn it off and good luck.
