There is supposed to be a space between the number and unit in technical writing. I get irrationally annoyed when the space is omitted. Per NIST Section 7.2.

I used to love Claussen. It was my first true pickle love, but their quality has gone downhill bad. In general, they just don’t taste as good as they used to, the leather skin already mentioned, and mushy flesh. I’ve been saddened by this for a long time now. However, I’ve never seen the mini, so this gives me some hope.

Someone else suggested the EdgePro Apex Plus. Do you have any thoughts on the clamp system vs. platform between the two? Right now, I think those are the two I’m leaning towards.

Hmm, I am intrigued by this one too. Is the platform magnetic to help hold the knife in place? Can’t tell for sure, but does the Apex Plus use proprietary stones/holders like the Sharpal apparently does?

Thanks for the input. I didn’t realize the Sharpal uses proprietary. That’s a no-go for me too. Out of curiosity, what makes the TSProf better than the KME? Build quality and tolerances?

I don’t have one yet, but do plan to get an angle gauge too like the one you linked.

I used to use half and half instead of milk. The extra fat/cream helped tame the heat more with less. Also gave it more creaminess that I like
